Vitali more toughness? You mean the way he quits on his stool with 2 rounds to go vs a cruiserweight to give up his belt? Wlad is clearly tougher than Vitali and would never do something like that.

 

Agreed. There isnt one thing Vitali has better than Wlad. Wlad has much better skills, much better technique, much more efficient jab, harder hitter, better punching arsenal, better combination puncher, better defense, better timing, better clincher, better inside fighter, and wlad has more heart.

Honestly especially if we take this 37 year old slow as molasses past his prime version of vitali, Wlad wins easily.

 

I just think Vitali may run out of gas toward the end of the fight and get pipped at the post should a Wlad win be on the cards. I don't see Wlad winning any other way unless as you say he Lewis's the side of his brother's face.

 

Vitali's biggest weakness is a ... tall rangy fighter with a great jab and a hard cross. hmm... but Wlad is lazy in clinches. I still think Wlad takes Vitali deep, tests his stamina and KOs him in the final rounds.

 

Wlad would humiliate Vitali at distance. But in clinch..Vitali might break him.

 

It WOULD be an intruiging situation if either brother were the mandatory for the other.

 

There is no way Vitali would walk down his own flesh and blood, guns blazing for the knockout. If they ever fought, they'd box.

And Wladimir is on another level, in that regard. Faster, and better skilled in every way. Wouldn't shock me if in a fight where neither guy would want to hurt the other, Wlad won every single round for the shutout.

Vitali's weakness is a fighter with some good pop, hand speed, above average counter punching ability, and a willingness to go for his shots.

VK would be the best fighter Wlad has ever fought. He negates his size advantage, has a very solid chin, and can apply effective pressure with his relatively high workrate for a heavyweight.

In a true fight with no holding back, Vitali wins by stoppage. :deal The only way Wlad could win in that case would be to fight a 40-yr old Vitali who is shot imo. Wladimir has the beter boxing skills, but Vitali is far better than everyone who beat him. And styles make fights.

 

Wlad's chin is probably underrated and now his defence is tighter than it ever has been, I sincerely doubt Vitali would land flush. Considering Vitali's lack of mobility and sloppy style, I would favour Wlad by UD.

 

Young Klitschko could control the distance with his jab as he does well enough to keep his older brother on the outside. Straight rights down the pipe would also keep Vitali at bay. Vitali's chin and toughness make this a very interesting fight.

Either man can win, but I will bet on the younger brother to take home a decision. A knockout is very possible if Vitali forces the issue as he tends to do. Coming forward he can eat a big enough right hand to crack his chin... or land one of his own to decimate his younger brother.

 

Absolutely. Vitali dont have **** on Wlad's awesome 50 jab - 1 straight right combo.
