The fact that holyfield is perhaps the greatest cruiserweight of all time screws things up abit he gets overated on the all time heavyweights list but then underated on the general all time list.

    lewis
    wlad
    tyson
    holy
    vitali

vitali loses to them all IMO. Lewis could lose to any of them, but should be favourite.

Wlad is number 2. this is H2H, not who's achieved what.

I think he beats vitlay and holy, loses to Lewis, and is 50 50 with Tyson.

    Wlad Tyson are tied basically.

Holy beats Tyson only on this list for sure IMO, would be even money with vitlay. Vitlays best chance for a win.

Lewis won the first fight and the second fight on my cards. Lewis was clearly superior to Holyfield in every way. You are the one with the revisionist use of history, if you are trying to tell me that Holyfield was even competitive with Lewis. The only dangerous thing about him is his use of the headbutt.

The second fight was only close because Lewis was not as motivated, and he did not use he jab like he should have done letting the slow Holyfield get inside.

The crucial point. Re-organising the W/L column on a fighters card based upon your own cards is ridiculous, frankly.

I have already said that Lewis is superior physically. This is accurate. Your clain that he is "clearly superior in every way" tells me you get your understanding of the game from Fight Night 2004, or you are being bias here. Hollyfield has better chin, heart and ring generalship. He is also a better offencive in fighter, though I think Lewis actually has the edge defencively.

You think that Hollyfield was "not competitive"? I thikn that Lewis proved himself the better man over the two fights, but to claim that Hollyfield was "not competitive" is absolutley deluded. Just freakish.

Oh Jesus, here we go. First Hollyfield is "not competitive" now it seems he was, but only because Lewis "let him".

    Pitiful.

I don't agree that holyfield was the better offensive fighter when lewis went for it he put people away quite often in a brutal way rather than holyfield who wore them down.

Sorry, but you can't make up a fighter's record according to how much you like him. Head to head Lewis came out top, there is never too much dispute over that. That's without mentioning the crooked judging in the first fight.

If you are talking to me, I completley agree. Lewis is a far better offencive machine than Hollyfield. Off the scale. I was talking about one specific range, if you have another look at the post.

There could always be some debate over the the order of the top 3, but I think the idea of this thread was to to give the impression that the Klitschkos made it to some kind of shortlist.

Vitali's only claim to fame is losing in his biggest fights and Wlad is only highly regarded for what he might go on to achieve. If this was a list of heavyweights who achieved the most, then it would have to be a very long list before we saw the Klitschkos on it.

You actually couldn't be more wrong about the thread.

And nor is it a list of heavyweigts "who achieved most", that possibly wouldn't include any of these. In fact, achievment isn't neccesarily part of the criteria at all, it's about who was "best", rather than who did most.
