Vitali Klitschko won every single fight but 1 (ONE) by knockout. Great percentage.

Johnson was a good fighter when he was not seriously overweight. He was huge against Vitali

Vitali should never be underestimated. He is a true warrior and always has been. His fighting as a boxer and kickboxer at the same time for all those years has been hard on his body, but he will knock out the winner of Maskaev/Peter, no doubt about that one.

Soloman Haumono has a 100% KO percentage. You can prove or disprove anything with stats. They are meaningless without also considering the quality of the opponents.

Haumono's a nobody because his KOs are against other nobodies. Similar to the nobodies Vitali spent most of his career building up his stats against. He stepped up to the elite twice, and lost twice. Whatever the circumstances, he couldn't find a way to win.

The bottom line is that the myth of Vitali Klitschko is all based on what people think he could have done rather than what he actually did.

I personally think he would have unified and become undisputed champ if he had fought Ruiz & Byrd instead of Sanders & Williams. But as his losses proved, the reality doesn't always match the predictions. And you can't rate a fighter on mythical matches that never happened and a handful of random stats.

Really cuz two other guys knocked him out in half the time it took Vitali.

As far as VK KO%.....WOW he fought alot of bums. His Resume makes Wlads look like the greatest resume of all times. Its still a unchangable fact that VK lost in his two biggest fights vs the two best fighters on his resume.

the whole point of our discussion was that Vitaly showed he could outdo Byrd. Which he definately did.

Are you joking? The percentage looks great on paper, but you have to take into account two things. First is the quality of opposition he fought, as already mentioned.

The other is that some fights which are included as "technical knockouts" were stopped just because... well, honestly I don't know why. I guess just because Vitali was winning them anyway so it wouldn't make much difference either. Anyway, I doubt they would've been stopped in US (for example), so comparing him to Marziano (or any other real champion) just by comparing two numbers does not make much sense to me.

don king had a hold on the division at the time

Vitali fought the best he could

King was a ***** and wouldnt give Vitali a shot at any of his champs because he knew they would loose.

He expected Vitali to put his belt on the line against Rahman. This minimized Kings risks. If Rahman won, he got the belt, if he lost big deal he didnt have a belt to loose. King wouldnt give him a unification shot against one of his guys so they both could put belts on the line.

All he proved was that he couldn't defeat Byrd on the one night they fought. Nothing more.

so your saying his TKO stoppages arent any good and are meaningless yet you admit you never saw the fights or know why they were stopped?
