Vitali Klitschko won every single fight but 1 (ONE) by knockout. Great percentage.

To hold Chris Byrd above Vitali head to head is insane. To ignore that Vitali was winning against Byrd before the injury is just ignorance. Anyone with a brain knows that if Byrd and Vitali fought 10 matches, Byrd would only be victorious if Vitali continued to get injured again and again and again, which is inlikely at that time. Regardless, Vitali beats the crap out of him (like brother Wladimir has).
You would have to very biased against Vitali to disagree (relentless, I know you are).

I've made my point, ..it's realistic. School dismissed.
    Have fun watching Wladimir tonight.

Yes. I do have a double standard. I am not certain someone like Golota being DQ'd against Bowe should even be a loss if he is ahead on points. It probably should be a no contest.

If Byrd answers the bell for a scheduled round and Vitali doesn't, that is a stoppage, pure and simple. The rules of boxing are that you answer the bell.

Head to head is fantasy. These men fought and Byrd won. That is the only reality. Your argument is like maintaining the Patriots are better than the Giants.

Brother Wladimir is indeed better than Byrd. Vitali is not.

Injuries bascially tarnished and destroyed Vitalis career. Only 2 losses came via injury (he was ahead in both).

Vitali had it all..he has never been behind in a fight with his awkward boxing style using his 6'8 frame to his advantage. Swaying back and then landing is 1 2s. He was alot tougher than Wlad...which clearly worked to his advantage vs Sanders.

In my eyes Vitali is the best heavyweight since Lewis.

Wlad has long stated that his older brother would have beat him.

Yep. On the night he was the better boxer, and the more resilient athlete.

the injuries prove that he didn't "have it all".
"It all" would include a durable body. It's one of the things you need ot be a great, long reigning champion.

Plenty of fighters lost because of cuts while ahead. Do you hear people crying about it? No, they just get a rep for being a bleeder and people say things like "he could have been a great if he didn't cut so easily".

To all of you acting like Vitali is undefeated because he was ahead whenever he lost - is any kind of KO win legit if the winner wasn't ahead on the cards in your opinion?

If so, what's the difference? Whether it's your chin, your skin or your shoulder that lets you down is irrelevant. Two guys enter the ring. If one guy can't last the distance, the other guy wins. If they both last, THEN you judge the winner by the scorecards. Not before.

Your above post reminds me of a ventriloquist's dummy agreeing with the ventriloquist. If it makes you feel better.

All of the Ring ranked top ten guys (3) that Quitali beat were overweight, old, or both.

When Brittley faced a legit champion in Lewis who was old, overweight, and inactive for a year, he lost.

Of course, when Hasim "Oleg's Son" Rahman faced an undertrained Lewis, he knocked Lewis out.

How many times in a row did Brittley pull out of the Rahman fight, after the WBC forced him to fight Hasim?

    3? 4? 5?

    So hard to keep up.

Vitali is going to return and destroy the winner of the Maskaev/Peter fight.

Would have, could have, should have.

Take a look at the list of titlists/contenders that Wladimir beat (not whom he could have, should have, would have beaten if not for.....)

Then take a look at the list of contenders/titlists that Brittley beat (not whom he could have, should have, would have beaten if not for.....)

    Thank you.
