Thats because in the 90's they didnt get paid as much, and had to fight in order to gain any type of attention they had to become a draw, today they dont have to fight they just have to win and alot of times you will see boring jab and grab sessions just to secure the win.
in other words todays fighters are ****ing pampered too much

 

Simply being a monster head to head won't cut it in most eras.

How is Vitally going to do in an era where his fights are weeks apart instead of months, and he can't take time off or reschedule a fight because he has an injury?
