    Lewis was going down like the rest of Vitali's opponents in the 8th/9th rounds. I wish the ring doctor would have continued the fight. Vitali had a cut that was easy to repair and it wasn't as bad as it appeared, and only the delusional ****s would have realized that Vitali was simply the better fighter.

    But the result with the doctor doesn't really matter to me, every knowledgeable and unbiased boxing fan saw that Vitali was outboxing Lewis (who was getting outboxed for the first time in his life) and that he was going to win typical Vitali fashion.

    Vitali, by the way, never came close to falling. His knees never buckled and he was never staggered. Any time Vitali got hit very hard he kept a clinch and showed no signs of falling. Lewis, on the other hand, almost fell down 2x in the 2nd round and one time in the 4th round. Vitali never even knocks people down in the first 6 rounds and he almost did it to Lewis 3x :lol:. The fact that some idiots believe that Lewis' chin would have held the Vitali beatdown (which many iron chins have not survived) is just as legitimately funny as believing that Lewis is a better boxer than Vitali.

    Vitali already outboxed and dominated Lewis

    Vitali beats the **** out of Bowe, who got destroyed by Golota 2x. Bowe is not even in the same league as Vitali

    Vitali destroys Holyfield, who was never a top fighter and is severely overrated historically

    Vitali kills Tyson, who was never good against very tall fighters and never fought a skilled one like Vitali.

    Vitali ends Ali and Foreman, and would be able to do it in the same night. Both men would not handle the strength of Vitali's chin and receive a typical Vitali beatdown by the 8th-10th rounds.

    Utterly astonishing that these people can accuse anyone of being bitter and angry.:roflMost of these inane inveterates probably weren't even old enough to understand boxing when the fight took place.

    Seriously,the pain you are carrying really must be a heavy load to bare.I've been nice to people I used to have fairly robust arguments with on ESB.Once they realised the error of their ways they've gone onto discover that I don't hold grudges and enjoy intelligent,measured discussion once they've been "cured"

    I am changed man now. I no longer get pissed off so easily. I can now talk about boxing with out going racial/personal accusations against someone. Or if someone does not agree with me or he is just frankly trolling around. I am proud of myself.:D

    It takes some guts to hold my frustration sometimes when I am about to burst on rage I just think happy things. I have learn to be here with my disgracefull short temper.:thumbsup

    ESB has taught me some REAL patience.:thumbsup

    If it wasn't for the stoppage they'd only have one pair of nuts to hug.
    Lennox would clearly have ended Vitali's career that night.:yep

    You can't say for sure he would have beat Lewis if he didn't get cut. The fight was only half way over. And I think for Vitali its a good thing Lewis did not rematch him. I think Lewis would have tore him up. Vitali could not handle Lewis's jab. All Lewis had to do is use his jab and it would have been a easy fight.

    I agree with the first part--

    ANY statement sort of "what if" statement is only a matter of opinion. The only fact that truly matters is that Lewis won on a legit stoppage due to damage to VK's eye.
