Kevin Johnson, Kirk Johnson and Gomez are the 3 best technicians. Sanders the biggest puncher

    Danny Williams>Sam Peter

But Sanders beat an older Wlad, who had the win against Byrd, and had been a belt holder for some time. Surely you understand how Sander's win over Wlad, is better than Purrity's win over a somewhat green Wlad.

I don't either, he's a glorified journeyman who made his name off that one night. The previous time he stepped up to world level, he got KO'd by Rahman. Though I still rate Sanders higher than Peter.

Tells you how weak this era is.

I just don't rate Arreola at all. He's a one dimensional plodder. I rank Vitali's wins over Kirk Johnson, Danny Williams, Adamek, Peter, Hide and Chisora higher.

I watch the Klitschko fights, I like them, but I'm far from a huge fan. I don't overrate Sanders, in fact me placing him as Vitali's best win shows you how poor Vitali's resume is, I don't rate either of Sanders or Peter, shows you how weak Vitali's legacy is. Any top 10 contender of the 90's would smash Sanders and Peter.

Highly debatable, Sanders has a better win then either of them. Sanders also did much better against Vitali than either of them.

But he has the Wlad win, so it's relevant.

Just who the **** has Sam Peter ever beaten!? :patsch

Sanders isn't very good, I know. Sam Peter is crap as well. It's embarassing that Wlad has a loss to Sanders, he got beaten down like an ugly stepchild, by a fat golfer  He's still better than Peter

Lewis would decapitate any of version of Wlad, be it today or of 2003.

I'm not trying to do either, don't put words in my mouth. It's my opinion, I think Sanders was a better win than Peter. I don't rate either, but I still think Sanders is just a bit better than Peter, who is terrible. The main reason Sanders is the better win, is because he has that win over Wlad, that's the gist of it really. Wlad got embarassed, he doesn't get a pass, he got KO'd by a fat semi pro golfer. Listing that as Vitali's best win just tells you how weak the Klitschko era has been.

Didn't Sanders destroy Cooper in the ring? Sanders was one of the most avoided fighters in 90s. He lacked discipline and stamina but he had tons of talent. He blew his shot against Rahman and that essentially ended his career. He had Rahman on the ropes and if he had enough discipline to see him out his next shot would have been Lewis so things could have been very different for the sniper but alas.

Lewis beat Vitali fair and square. so Your saying Vitali's best win is a loss against Lennox Lewis?

Peter wasn't his best *win*, but given the fact that Vitali beat him as decisively as he did, without any tuneups after two surgeries and four years out of the ring...........Which was the first time in heavyweight history that had ever happened.

So I say the Peter win.

Ali came back to fight Jerry Quarry with 3 and a half years out, and looked better than Vitali imo.

Probably shutting out Sam Peter after 4 years off with awful injuries. No Heavyweight has ever come back after 4 years off with no tuneup and won the Heavyweight Championship.

Yes, I realize Peter is/was a limited fighter but being out for that long is a heck of an accomplishment. I am in no way saying Peter is even close to being an ATG.

Ah, probably a trinket but he beat Peter and made him quit where as Wlad went the distance and then what 10 rounds with Peter in the rematch? To me Vitali is just the better and meaner brother.

    Awesome avatar btw.... :good
