Who would be the best choice for the returning Vitali to fight in February/

Take into consideration that the guy has been out of the ring for three years, plus, come February...... And since his fight with Williams, he has surgery three times, including:

-an existing bone spur removed from his back

    - knee surgery to repair a torn ligament

    - a herniated disc repaired in his spine.

But keep in mind that the guy is the consumate professional who is always in shape...............A guy who won't kid himself and comeback unless he's fully recouperated and ready..........I read that he once said he won't even attempt a comeback unless he knows he's as good as he was before. (this is verbatim to what he said about his condition for returning.)

He retired as the WBC titleholder, and has a certain amount of credibility to maintain in picking his comeback oppoent, but at the same time, he has to be a realist and pick a fighter that is appropriate for someone who has been outta the ring for three years.....

Considering all this, who do you think he'll pick to fight in his comeback fight in February?

    ????????

Golota so his return is short lived.

Golota would be a good opponent. Golota is well known HW, and would be suitable for Vitali after a long layoff. Vitali had a long layoff but Golota is getting old, so there is some balance there.

David Tua, many would love to see this fight including myself. Tua is an exciting fighter that would be interesting to see fight Vitali, and if he won Tua, would be make an exciting oppenent for Peter.

Honestly, as much as I was a fan of his, I am tired off all of his injuries and postponed comebacks. I don't care who he fights as long as I see him in the ring.

Rahman, that is a good choice. Rahman wanted the figth so bad, let him have it.

Rahman almost got beat by Sykes, the same guy Peter blasted out in like round 2. Rahman sucks pretty bad anymore, I rather see him in there with Tua or Golota.

It would settle a feud that Vitali retired because he was "scared" of Rahman. Also, Rahman is still formidable, so it would be a good match to gauge what Vitali has left.

It doesn't matter who it is, Vitlay won't make it through the training camp.

Why should this time be any different to the last 5 or 6?

Why would Vitali take a tune up, after a long layoff that would be a tougher fight than the fight he is preparing for against either Peter or Maskaev?

Tua would knock out Peter, his defense is just so bad, and Tua already KO'd Maskaev.

Peter's better than you give him credit for, will see when Maskaev gets his head taken off against Peter.

Why the hell would Rahman even take this fight, Vitali just going to back out at the last second like hes been doing for almost 3 years now. The part is Rahman still has to pay his trainers and sparring partners, all because Bitchko keeps backing out.
