I am so tired of the damned ignorant bigots! Vitali is the best heavyweight in the world and by far. VITALI VS. MAYWEATHER SHOULD BE NEXT. VITALI BY VICIOUS KNOCKOUT.

I never had seen Vitaly hurt in my life, but Arreola had been hurt a few times now.

The guys been hit enough times, and never been down.... its safe to say hes got a good chin. Some of you guys really, REALLY try to look too hard into things. All i have to see, to see that he has a good chin, is the fact that corrie sanders landed flush, lennox lewis landed flush, he has never been down, never put on real ***** street.... and the guy is going on 38. If he did not have a very good chin..... he would have been hurt bad a few times.

You guys type these words like 'iron chin' and expect that to mean that these guys do not have brains and shouldnt even be phased by any punch thrown by any fighter.... they have brains, they can get raddled.... Tua, Tyson, ect... all these people with great chins can be hurt, doesnt mean they dont have iron chins.

Maskaev wouldn't beat Vitali now or most likley then in his Rahman fight days. Maskaev would maybe be a trouble for rounds 1 nd maybe 2, but Vitali would eventually warm up and knock him out in the 8-10 rounds...

A amateur fight that took many years ago doesnt mean squat.

Seriously, I doubt Maskaev would last that long against Vitaly. VK would go after him hard from the beginning and stop him early.

Arreola landed a few bombs in the fight. And Lewis' hooks in 2003 were killer shots. If Vitali had not had an iron beard, he would at least wobble on his legs. Did he? Nope, he appeared unfazed.

Vitali can be hurt just like any of the heavyweights, past or present. It's just going to take a shot from a good puncher that he doesn't see coming. Now how he takes the knockdown will determine whether or not he has the chin we all thought he did IMO... Kinda like how Wlad can get put down so many times in one fight and still get back up and fight on...

Plus, even if it's true (which it doesn't seem to be) Oleg IS a big puncher. It's not like he's feather fisted or something. One of only two guys to knock down Robert Hawkins. Just he's a slow puncher, so most good fighters can get out of the way of his stronger shots.

How can anyone question Vitali's chin UNTIL IT HAS BEEN EXPOSED? Why speculate? Everything we've seen points into the direction that he is able to absorb punches extremely well. I've rarely seen him wobbled, never seen his knees turn to rubber.

Now you can argue his skin/facial tissue is a weakness; that is isn't genetically as good at absorbing sledgehammer like punches around his eye. But that has little to do with the durability of his chin IMO.
