Vitaly would have defeated all of Wlad's opponents. 2015 version of Fury would have been the most difficult but I think Vitaly's workload would have made the difference and he would have edged out Fury too. Vitaly was also good at controlling the range against taller slicker boxers too (eg. Donald - I know he is not Fury's calibre but still). Post-2019 Fury loses against Vitaly.

It is a shame how the Odlainer Solis fight (and Solis' career in general) turned out: a well-prepared and motivated Solis would have been, apart from Lewis, the biggest test for Vitaly.

Well the fact Vitali lost to Byrd and Wladimir had to fight Byrd twice that right there in itself is a possible loss for Vitali.

Vitali beats Byrd 9 of 10 times and every time sans injury.

a large number of fights does almost certainly invite upsets, thus the current fighters strategy of fighting one cherry picked opponent every year and a half and no one else.

Debatable despite the myth of Vitali handily winning the fight, it was infact a very competitive fight. And Byrd had been coming on since 5th round. Vitali missed alot of punches and by the end of the fight Byrd had landed over 40 percent of his punches whilst Vitali was at 26 percent.

Let's also not forget Byrd was a late replacement and only had 10 days to prepare for Vitali.

Vitali doesn't have Wladimir's punching power or great jab so style wise Vitali always has alot more problems vs Byrd than Wladimir did.

Not sure I agree about Wlad's abilities being better suited to such as Byrd than Vitali's nor do I accept that Vitali was not well ahead when he quit just because you say so. It's been a long time since I've seen that fight and I'm not going to go watch it right now. I remember him being in charge, but whatever.

I still say that Byrd hasn't much chance ever vs Vitali if no injury.

Further, I say that sans injuryVitali beats everybody Wlad ever fought including Fury and Wlad himself 'cept that Wlad's momma would have given him plenty stick for pummeling his little brother. Millions of dollars or no. :ibutt

Wladimir was faster and hit harder, faster footwork. At that power scale, even Vitali would watch out.

Sure. Might be interesting fot a bit, but Vitali could throw some heat as well and had far better stamina and chin. Even not being a stubborn old **** just for the fun of it I think Wlad eventually succumbs.

Even though I think there is a faction that wildly overrates Wlad and I talk endless **** about his boxing (especially after he started working wirh Steward), truth is I watched all his fights and I like both guys and don't blame em for not fighting each other. They got rich enough anyway, huh?
