Vitali Klitscho Vs. Chris Arreola Sept. 26 on HBO drew the highest rating of 2009 for an HBO World Championship Boxing telecast. Klitschko-Arreola scored higher ratings than Antonio Margarito and Shane Mosley’s welterweight world _title_ fight and the Juan Diaz-Juan Manuel Marquez bout for the linear lightweight championship..

Interesting fact, but it doesnt change the fact that Wlad's fights have been a disaster for ESPN classic and I really dont blame any of the networks for not showing him anymore.

The Klitschko-Arreola fight, which was shown in more than 100 countries worldwide, also dominated the international market.

"Vitali's fight was also shown live in Germany and received a 52 percent share of the market, the highest rated program at that time slot," said Bernd Boente, Managing director, KMG.

Vitali Klitschko - Lennox Lewis was at one point the highest rated fight ever on HBO. Not sure if it still is.

And it was a good showing too. Not your typical domination. I do honestly think they should show Vitali's fights though.

That still doesn't explain about the Mosley vs. Margarito fight.
People were just really interested in Chris Arreola.

V.K. kicks ass hard.... He's the main dude at heavyweight.... HBO ****ed up when they cancelled out on him and his lilttle bro....

However, here in '10, I think both HBO and Showtime have been pretty iffy and inconsistant with their boxing schedules....

ESPN Classics went gay on me last week by way of Time Warner now wanting 5 bucks more for the service... I told the cable co. to blow it out their ass....

Yeah, 2010 has been pretty shitty in many ways.... I'm not impressed....
