I never said it wasn't stopped....right? Had Lewis fought Kirk Johnson like he was scheduled , he would have won easily. His mommy wouldn't have made him retire and he would have beaten a few more nobodies before retiring.

yes he was in shape. like i said, his hgh gut got bigger every fight for years, but he carried no fat. A week before the fight he ripped his shirt off on hbo, saying he didn't want to waste the training he did to get into fantastic shape. Well that's where we disagree, cause Lewis looked like crap to me, slow and with no snap on his punches, the jab in particular. I attribute what I saw to his being a bit out of shape. As far as what you said about his gut, would you agree that even his upper body looked a bit soft?
