Vitali Klitzscho Versus Floyd Patterson

I think Klitschko is to big and punchers to hard for Patterson. Klitschko KO win.

 

Klitschko due to Patterson being a 175 with a suspect chin against power punchers.

 

Klitschko, he's a really bad match-up for Patterson. He gets bombed out here as in Liston 1+2/Johannson 1. Vitali is just too big, I don't think Patterson has a chance of outfoxing him over 12 or 15, and I feel a Vitali jab will wobble Floyd at some point.

 

Vitali by mid-rounds TKO. Entertaining scrap while it lasts.

I have a lot of respect for Patterson, he was always in good shape and a very brave fighter, but Vitali is a bad stylistic matchup, imo.

Floyd Patterson vs Wladimir is more debateable. Patterson is quick, and has enough pop to hurt Wlad, imo.

 

Bad match for Patterson. Vitali would stop him.

 

Pound for pound, Patterson is the better fighter, but this doesn't do him much good in an actual head to head matchup.

Klitschko by KO, and probably early.

Patterson couldnt crack an egg and one of the smallets heavies ever. He would get pounded into to the canvas.

I don't give Patterson much of a chance here. Patterson was a natrual Light Heavyweight but was was talented and skilled enough to win the Heavyweight title.

In this fight he would be giving a enourmous height and reach advantage away.

I feel Klitschko could utilize Patterson's speed with his height and Jab. Klitschko is extremely heavy handed, and can score a KO win over Patterson without much trouble.

 

Klitschko late KO, unless Patterson gets access to Vitali's stash of steroids for his training camp

 

Your first statement is one of the most ridiculous I've read on this site. Patterson is one of the hardest punchers I've ever seen at his weight. I agree with your second statement though.
