The only conclusion I can draw based on their losses is that Vitali is more of a professional than Lewis is. That doesn't mean that Vitali is a better fighter, though.
Here's a tip, don't quit against a cruiserweight in the first place, then he won't have a loss to avenge. I'm pretty sure this is bull****, Wlad doesn't [or didn't have any trouble finding opponents], he's managed to fight the likes of Chagaev and Chambers, top 4 contenders, so why hasn't Vitali?
I can agree with that. It is hard to fight when the top fighters won't fight you. What do you do in that situation? :deal
Two of the worst HW champions of all time. They lost twice each because they are slow, predictable and have no heart. The only reason they don't seem so slow is that they handpick their opponents, or wait until the good opponents are too old and shot to beat them.
Alright, Lennox and Vitali fans: name your best wins. Convince me that these guys are good. Maybe I'm blind, but I don't see anything special on their resumes, except old shot fighters whom they should and could have fought years earlier.
VITLAY was knocked down by Sanders, and also KO'd by Maskaev, Pele Reid and a steroid test. Also he was behind on points against Herbie Hide, but no rematch.
Why should it be a no-contest? Do you not know the rules...... or do the rules change when it comes to the Klitschko's? I've got an idea - should Lewis vs Rahman I be a technical draw because Lennox was ahead when he was sparked?
Handpicked huh? No biased opinion here. They have beat everyone that will fight them. You don't have to like their style or them , but to not give credit to their achievements in the ring??? come on.
great fighters dont get counted out. Ali once said you would never see me laying on my back being counted out.
Yes, Lewis did avenge both losses but Lewis lost by KO to McCall & Rahman. Vitali lost by injury to Byrd & Lewis. I think the Vitali lost to the better competition and he wasn't knocked down in either fight let alone knocked out. Let's face it, Lewis is an ATG Heavyweight so there's little shame in losing to him and Byrd was no slouch either. In fact I'd rank their opponents: Lewis Byrd Rahman McCall
