"I have to defend my title against official contender, and after that, maybe if David has a high ranking we can fight"

Ballsy that a guy who is nearly 42, has slowed down and suffers from injuries wants to actually wait longer/fight on.

Vitali is ducking David Haye. What a poor loser! First he said, I want to knock him out blablabla...

How can you duck someone you offered a contract to last year?

This is bad! Vitali should fight HAye after calling him out or retire! He can sell the story that the boxing organization forces him to fight an official contender! Who is that please?
Did Vitali not say that Haye can fight him after the Chisora fight? So the arguement that Haye fought Chisora instead him is also no really good.

Wladimir wouldn't like your mockery of Vitali :nono

PS. If we're serious, if Haye wanted to fight Vitali so bad, why not pass on the easy money vs Chisora to make that fight happen when it was proposed? To wait for the man to be virtually shot to fight him?

Vitali has very clearly declined and still wanted to give Haye a shot. But the princess thought the champion should wait until she's done with her money making first, now thinks she's entitled to jump straight into a title fight not even being ranked.

I quite like Haye actually but this **** and some of the comments in here are just ridiculous.

I do not care what Wladimir would think.

I hate the way Vitali react after Wlad won against Haye and if where Wlad I would have say some words to my brother. And not only this time.

About the coach I would have made my brother a clear !!! information.

Vitali is ducking Haye this is obvious and a very bad move.

Last year but not after Haye fought Chisora.

I would say no word if Vitali did not say "I will fight the winner of Haye vs. Chisora".

After Haye knocked Chisora out, Vitali was quiet.

If he should say "I retire because I do not want to continue fighting", it was good.

    But not this way.

I always try not to be biased towards fighters but how can you "duck" someone you have offered a contract to before?

Vitali did not say that. Frank ****** did, and Bernd Boente agreed to it in the press conference.

I'm Vit's biggest fan but I wonder who he's going to fight if not Haye, not Arreola again if he beats Stiverne. Pulev or Pov are the guys people want to see.

Is there evidence of such a contract? We all know Haye was told fight Chisora and the winner gets Vitali.

Wlad offered Haye a contract than Haye fought Valuev.

After this Wlad offered a contract again to fight because he wants!!! to unify and fight David Haye.

That Haye is not easy to negotiate, this was no secret for Vitali. I had no problem if Vitali was quiet after Wlad won the fight.

    But he wasn´t.

So now he should stand to his own words and fight David Haye or retire.
