Very hard to descifer what Haye thinks. For some time, Haye and CO were going about a thing they see in Wlad that makes them see Haye winning. Now... they suddenly prefer Vitali.

Regardless, even now, Vitali takes Haye to the cleaners. Easily that. People are delluded if they think the stuff that worked against Valuev would be worth a dam' against Vitali.
The thing about Vitali at present, he isn't as spectacular as he was when fighting Corrie Sanders, but as Emmanuel Steward pointed out, he's a significantly better boxer, fights more inteligently.

He'll deconstruct Haye. And unlike against Wlad... if the unlikely event of Haye getting off one of his... lunging punches happens, Vitali would take those and continue. But thing is, that won't happen.

I'd love to see Vitali get riled up and stand and exchange with Haye.

Given Haye's speed, you know he's gonna nail Vitali a time or three. A stun will be the best he can hope for.

The real drama will be how Haye can take Vitali's power, though as well as the amount of heavy shots Vitali will more than likely land on Haye.

if david haye beats vitali, all you're going to get is vitali was old and rushed up on here but the knobs. if haye beats wladimir, they'll just claim wladimir was chinny. all of this whilst claiming king pin johnson as the best heavyweight in the world today. only in america.

I appreciate the encouragement, but I actually wasn't tying to be funny. I think that's how Haye will play it. If Vitali looks good, he'll take a break and wait for the winner of the Meehan vs. Chagaev slugfeast. If Vitali looks bad, he'll hire another nanny for his newborn and go off to train.

I agree, and I wouldnt have thought the tactics he used against Valuev would be employed against Vitali, he's far more mobile and up for a fight than Valuev ever is.

I really don't doubt that both these fights will happen (seeing Haye get passed one of the brothers)... after all the shouting that's been done he'll lose all credibility - especially in the UK. On top of that the restrictive time scales Haye has given himself to achieve things by.... unless these are going to be changed and he will be around for another few years yet.

Are you trying to say that Haye shouldn't bother fighting either Klitschko because you can't please all of the fans all of the time? Wow, what a revelation!

    :D

Haye will get credit even taking a fight with either. If he were to win, he'd get all kinds of credit, and would if he were to win decisively enough to not need a rematch, Haye would then have a mega, mega fight with the other brother.

Worldwide, those would be probably the biggest fights since the heyday of Ali and Tyson. Maybe not in the US, but in Europe, most certainly, they'd be blockbuster fights.

Ermm no actually it's Vitali. You probably hadn't heard of Haye until a few years ago whereas some of us have been following him for years and know a bit more about him.
Please keep your "knowledge" of the mans character to your bashing threads. This is a boxing thread.
    Thank you.

Absolutely. You're talking about a guy who got 20 thousand fans to attend his last fight against a 38 year old John Ruiz. Really, gimme a break. Were Haye to challenge a Klitschko the Brits might have him knighted. Sir David Haye...:D

i think he should skip them and fight kingpin. that's what the boxing fans want.

to be honest i'm looking forward to the klit fights. i think haye has more chance of beating vitali, but it'll be bloody tough. both fights will be tough, but wladimir's fight with haye will be about who hurts who first. both big punchers, both weak chins.

Actually, you're an idiot. Haye confronted Wlad at a charity event in April of 2008, before he fought Monte Barret. Really, save you double digit IQ for noobs. :patsch

This is utter bull**** all the people saying I've always felt Vitali was the easier fight are talking out of their asses.

The very same people this time last year were saying Haye wants nothing to do with Vitali and wlad is the easier fight because he has no chin.

I prefer it this way If he beats Vitali the wlad fight will be huge.
