Vitali may fight Valuev if Haye keeps avoiding the fight

Sauerland and DK have a say in the next three fights of Haye. Which means, DK will dictate DHs next three opponents. Haye may choose the arena, but not the opponent. Which means: Ruiz (mandatory), Valuev II, and another high-ranked contractor of Sauerland or King.

If we - the fans - are lucky, the third one is vs. Vitali, with Haye sharing his big purse with Sauerland/King.

But Haye seems to wait at least five months between fights. He's won the title in November, and will fight Ruiz in April/May, scheduling the next one to October/November.

 

Link for your claim? Adam Booth has stated that Sauerland has revenue sharing options on Haye's next three fights, but Haye decides who he fights. Ruiz is a mandatory anyway (but has no connection to Sauerland or King at this point), and Valuev has a rematch clause (but not immediate) if he chooses to take it up. King will get some cash through his agreement with Sauerland but has no direct contractual agreement with Haye.

Then you are better informed than I am. I was repeating the gist of an article of Focus, a German newszine, I read some time ago. It was published after Haye opted to fight Valuev, before the belt changed hands.

Valuev is pissed and hungry after the loss to Haye and noone is bigger or hits harder than the giant and Vit won't run from him which = fireworks
