Valuev has never faced someone as big, skilled, and powerful as Vitali, and you can bet that Vitali will be hammering him, hoping to put him on his ass.

And after Haye's uneventful 12 round snoozer with Valuev only earning a wobble near the end, think of the powerful message Haye would get if Vitali took this behemoth off his feet, mid rounds.....................

This fight is gonna be drama on the highest level. May be a stinker, but I doubt it, cause he's well aware of the flack he caught with the Johnson episode, as well as what Wlad took for the Ibragimov fight. I think Vitali will be out to make a statement with this, one of his last fights, and given that he has the opportunity to do someone noone has done before, Haye included: put Valuev down.

If Vitali beats Valuev more convincingly than Haye beat him (i.e lands 7 punches as opposed to 6) then he can retire without fighting Haye. Better performance against a common opponent will be enough for most people asking 'why did Vitali and Haye never fight and who would win?'. I'm hoping Vitali retires on this fight anyway

Looking at that picture I'm actually surprised there isn't a bigger difference in height :think

 

I expected less of a height difference, seeing as how Valuev is 6 foot 11.1, and Vitali 6 foot 7.5 (or so).
