real good analysis... It was clearly Vitklits fault that the fight was so shitty... I mean Johnson pushed the action all the time and all Vitklit was doing, was to fight to survive... Seriously, you thought about logging off?
This thread is a joke...you find it inexcusable that Vitali could not knockout an undefeated guy who's never been knocked out and you think Haye would knock out Vitali, a guy who's never even hit the canvas....based on what? Haye's dominant performance against Valuev? If you think Vitali's performance last night was inexcusable, what is your opinion of Haye's versus Valuev? Haye stunk out the joint against Valuev yet you think he's going to knock out the Big Ukrainian? Your a moron!!
At least Vitali dominated the fight...Haye looked like absolute crap against Valuev and was lucky to get a decision. Unbelievable!!
I thought he could have displayed a lot more originallity and dexterity in his attacks. He was poor in my opinion, as was Johnson.
are you kidding? any decent professional fighter can try to not get knocked out if he wont throw a punch....hard to win a heavyweight title by being defensive...this isnt the NFL
Haye's punch out put was barely 12 punches per round-and landing around 6-8 per round. If you can win a belt by throwing that little and even landing fewer what does that tell you about how putrid Valuev is.... but that again to be fair Valuev did officially beat a 45 year old former HW with a chronic heart condition:yep.
What was he supposed to do? His opponent would not fight. Kind of like Valuev having to chase Haye all around the ring. Haye and Johnson were content on going to the scorecards from round 1. That is going to make for a **** fight. Klitschko did his job.
Another undefeated contender gets shutout by a Klitschko brother and all the haters can do is complain. :rofl It's hard to look good against a fighter who's got good defense & doesn't want to engage. If Kevin had done more offensively he would've been KO'd for sure. He simply wouldn't let his hands go for fear of being hit more than he was already.
