Vitaly should retire. Not becouse of Chisora. He is 40 and has a life outside of boxing.

He slapped him, spat in his brothers face and he couldn't even get him out of there.

What do you mean STILL beat chisora?? Isn't chisora the guy everyone was saying will get ktfo in 3 and is ****?? Now all of a sudden its an achievement beating him on a bad night? Chisora has had 17 fights, is limited and pretty one dimensional, and still MADE vitali look like ****.

Let's not start pretending this was a big achievement by vitali.

I obviously wanted chisora to win but noone expected him to. I had it 9-3 to vitali I think fury won more rounds than vitali did against chisora

I think people are going overboard though because we should remember that vitali is 40 now, ten years ago he'd probably have stopped chisora with relative ease. This indicates nothing about vitali v tyson nor frazier imo.

I think haye would beat vitali now because the guy looked old in against someone who's not even the best domestically and isn't that quick a fighter in reality.

Would be interesting seeing vitali against povetkin who's a much better pressure fighter than del boy imo.

I think it's the end of an era now. For the last few years vitali has lived off the mystique that he could have done what wlad did, but chose not to. I think the decline in vitali is going to get more and more prevalent.

Give the real reason you cannot give vitali credit ...........I never made any predictions at all...Chisora is a world class fighter ..one of the best ...But a much better man that looked old (compared to himself ) beat the **** out of the young big mouth

First he should actually win a fight and prove he is worth it. He should keep his slapping and spitting skills for fights with his girlfriend.

Vitali has repeatedly said he feels good now. Considering 10 years ago he was plagued with injury, I'm inclined to believe that what he says is true. You also have to consider that the last time Vitali fought, he beat possibly the biggest name on his record with absolute ease.

It wasn't Vitali who was poor. Chisora just outfought him.

i'm not giving Vitali credit because as you yourself pointed out, he did NOT look good today. of course, every time you win a fight as a professional, especially at this level, you deserve credit. but this is Vitali Klitschko, an all time great (wherever you have him), so i dont judge him on such a low level.

You might think Chisora is world class. Thats your opinion. I personally feel He is very very VERY green (17 fights mate come on) and i fully expected Vitali to dominate him and KO him, even on a bad night. I think most boxing fans would agree with that. the fact he was obviously very tired at the end and judging by the bear hug Wladimir gave him at the end suggests he had serious trouble in there. and for that reason i can't give Vitali credit for this win.

Was he exposed? I dont know. but i think we BOTH agree it was a bad day at the office for him. we should leave it at that. But i dont see how he should get credit for STILL beating Chisora despite looking bad.
