In the interview I saw he said "Maybe in the future if I get the chance I would like to send him to the floor," and his brother said, "Maybe I will give him a rematch. Maybe. At this time I don't know" while smiling.

Vitali sure as hell wasn't on the cusp of calling out David Haye. Wlad was just being polite.

Where is this interview and what exactly did he say?

I hope Vitali will retire after the Adamek fight and let his brother unify all the belts.

Vitali does not do well against defensive fighter. He does not cut off the ring like Wlad does.

Vitali is good in fighting guys who came to him, like Arreola oder Samuel Peter.

Haye is fast very fast and with the game plan against Wlad, Haye could won a UD against Vitali.

Vitali is full of emotions if a fighter profocates him. Look how he react when Johnson hit after the bell. Without Wlad maybe Vitali was disqualified.

Haye has lost and know it is up to Haye to fight his way back.

Haye should fight the winner of Chambers vs. Thompson to becomes the IBF Mandatory.

There is no more ppv money in Haye anymore.
British public are dumb but not that dumb.
No titles at stake. And above all, no balls.
Haye doesn't bring anything to the table anymore.

Vitali knows this, hence he was on a cusp of calling out a guy that brings nothin to the table is pure bs.

Vitali is just a bad man and personally would probably fight haye for free if haye promised not to run around the ring like a ***.

Vitali just left the door open as a possibility, call it a teaser for haye.

What haye needs to do is have 1-2 good wins over ppl like arreola etc and build up his image.
He needs to prove himself in the ring, not with his dirty mouth.

All these posts and you haven't even seen it :patsch.

It was on sky sports news. I can't be bothered rewatching it to quote vital word for word but read the thread title and the opening post, that'll give you a good idea.

If Vitali wants to beat Haye up, he should do it the old fashioned way. No ring, no rules, no money involved.

Why the hell would you give him millions to insult you? (which he's alleady said he will do!).

I just watched it and it's basically the same as the other (BBC?) interview:

Vitali says with a smile on his face "Maybe after that if David would be ready I give him chance"
Wlad says "He should fight and get good wins and I'll give him a rematch."

Vitali was on the cusp of calling Haye out?

    What a bull**** thread...

Cusp must have a different meaning for our good luf.

David hate was on the cusp of beating wlad but failed because of his little toe.

i really hope vitali steps up the calling haye out.

Haye surely wont cower away on a loss and in emberassment,he has to give it another go,whats this b/s early retirement anyway!.

Hes not achieved his goals yet,at all!.

fight in the U.S,bring excitment to Americans beating chambers/arreola or someone else suitable.

Get the vitali fight, outbox him, wear him down, cut him up,just win!.

rematch wlad, give it a better go with real aggression and desire to land as much and as often as possible.

little toe or not, injuries every fight or not,he has to improve the balance, the footwork and the work rate, has to get off first, has to go for the KO if needed even if it means getting stopped doing so.

Even after the loss, Haye is still the biggest draw out of ANY one of the contenders for Vitali to choose from. Bigger opponent than anyone else, and by quite a margin.

I can see why Vitali would want to end his career on a big money fight that got alot of coverage. Granted, not as big as the first Wlad Haye fight, but still alot bigger draw than Vitali fighting anyone else.

Haye was not thrashed by Wlad, but lost a decision. He hurt Wlad late, and still presents a legit threat to anyone.

Given that they've already beaten almost every *threat* out there, Vitali calling out Haye is not BS, no. I don't see how you can reasonably say that.

A Vitali fight with Haye would still sell and be watched by more people than a fight with Helenious, Povetkin, Chagaev, Boystov, Chirora, etc.

Ignore casa he has some sort of issue with me, no idea why :-(

Cusp as in very soon. Basically I watched that interview and determined from his body language that if he beats adamek he'll call out haye.

The beauty is we'll find out soon enough, he can all my thread bs but it's my interpretation of future events and current body language.

I mean is that much of a crime to have a hunch lol?
