It seemed like in EVERY interview regarding both brothers Haye did his best to **** on their accomplishments and even them as people. That's going beyond promoting a fight imo. The closed door stuff I believe because lets face it ...Haye isn't exactly a class act. Vitali seems like a good guy but also has a mean side when provoked. I wish a video was out of the episode where Vitali grabbed Haye by the throat after Haye put the Mens Health picture on the table.
really? :huh "A year and a half ago we all wanted to go to Chelsea Stamford Bridge, " Klitschko's manager, Bernd Bönte, said on Tuesday. "Wladimir knows [Roman] Abramovich and was invited by him." "Wladimir wants to have a German doctor in the corner and that's something the British Boxing Board of Control wouldn't allow," Bönte said. "They insist that one of their own doctors must be in the corner. That's why the fight won't be happening in the UK." http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2011...imir-klitschko seems pretty clear.
so wlad only refused to fight in the uk for the 2nd fight? & the doctor thing was only a problem if the fight took place on 2nd july 2011? good to know. :good
I bet Haye turned white as a ghost. Or did he do that goofy little smirk like when Vitali jabbed him in the shoulder? Haye is LUCKY people were there to break it up.
:-( your not getting it.... first fight never got that far (about a doctor)... david was to bring chelsea... he didnt.. wlad never looked into the UK... he went and got a venue in germany on short notice
so wlad would have vetoed it anyway? like he did when the fight actually happened? then what difference does it make? :huh
the fact that David said he could bring something to the table that he couldnt...... thats how talks went from day one i dont know what wlad would have said.... but it shows how david promises "X" but didnt deliver
