They said he only fights sand bags..
After Vitali beats the snot out of Solis in the same fasion he does everyone else, does it put their foot in mouth , meaning he to is a sand bag ? cuz Vitali will knock this dude around the ring in the same fasion as he did Arreola...hope Solis has a good chin cuz he and his camp are in for a treat

Quote" In an interview Vitali stated that he respects Solis. Well, good for him. We don’t respect Vitali. He’s a weak world champion who only beat weak opposition. In his only real tough fight against a world class opponent he lost to Lennox Lewis – although Lennox was way past his prime at that time.

I don't care what anyone says Lenox is a word class fighter and is one of the best to lace em up even that night... and Vitali was giving him a run and then some.. even winning the fight ..Solis and his camp are underestimating ol Doc iron fists

Ah the old "VITLAY was winning the battle but losing the war" bull****, yet again.....

Since he fought Lewis, what has he done that was so ****ing impressive? Pretty much nothing is the answer to that question.

I think Vitali is a great fighter, but it is true that he hasn't really fought anybody since Lewis, but that's not all his fault.

    It's just that it's a **** heavyweight division.

Coming back after a long layoff and beating Peter was impressive IMO.

Not because Peter is great (he's far, far from it), but more coming straight back into that fight was good. You couldn't have picked a champ to be more tailor made for Vitaly than Sam Peter though.

Since then, I think the fighters he's faced have been very, very average.

Arreola is a name, but when you look at the shape he was/is in, and really look at what Arreola has done, he's pretty average to be honest.

Gomez is nothing to write home about as a heavyweight, but he's not a bum - the rest have been awful.

    Not quite sandbags tho.

Arreola does look like a bit of a sandbag tho now I think about it...

Was that before or after Holyfield beat the crap out of Lewis in the second half of their first fight?

Wasn't Gomez promoted by Oner when he fought Vitali? So pretty much he called one of his (previous) fighters a sandbag. Solis will also fit into that category, he couldn't even take out Austin.

And if Vitali was trying so hard to avoid the fight, then how come it got signed and didn't go to purse bid? The only "stunt" Vitali pulled was that he asked if he could geta fight with Adamek first, and the WBC said no, that was before Solis even had the match with Austin. What an ass Oner is. K2 or WBC better make sure they have plenty of security around the timekeeper so Oner can't go ring the bell at his discretion when Solis is getting pummeled..

Vitali and Vlad keep fighting the best fighters who will get into a ring with them. Haye runs from Vitali and Vlad, so did Povetkin. The are fighting the best out there period. Nobody can dispute that.
