H2H GOAT, as in the guy who, in his prime, would beat any other HW boxer to ever lace the gloves, from bums to ATG's. Resume is irrelevant here

Yeah, some of the best fighters, like Ali, Foreman, Tyson, Wlad etc should be able to give them fits, but Vitali and Lennox could handle them, they can handle everything specially the small undersized guys with limited skills from the black & white eras (i'm looking at you Dempsey)

Because these two are clearly the two guys with all the necessary tools to beat any fighter in any era. Size, power, boxing skills, ring generalship, reach, ability to box or brawl, a granite chin (in Vitali's case) and a long etc

But I have a hard time deciding who is the H2H GOAT, yeah Vitali dominated Lennox and scared him into retirement, Lennox only won thanks to a one in a million freak injury, a fluke. But that doesn't change the fact that Lennox was past his prime, and he still managed to nick a couple rounds from a young Vitali and win, even if he needed help from Lady Luck.

So it's safe to assume, (and as a Vitali fan it pains me to say it) that...ugh.. a prime Lennox would have beaten Vitali ..agh..there..I said it..

So if we follow logic, Lennox and no other than Lennox should be declared the H2H GOAT

BUT there's a problem, Lennox has a suspect chin, one of those strange cases of chins that look like pourcelain in some fights, and very sturdy in others. Let's not forget he was one hit KTFO by subpar opposition, which is embarrassing. A SOLID CHIN IS CRUCIAL FOR H2H GREATNESS (that's why we'll never see Wlad getting a mention in these discussions)

Can we give the H2H title to Lewis even if he has a suspect chin? Or is Vitali more deserving due to his ATG chin even if he loses to Lewis H2H

One thing is sure, in their prime and with no injuries involved, these two skilled behemoths wouldn't lose to anyone aside from each other :bbb

  5. Respect.

    Great and amazing post.

It's fans like you and Chef and Rusnak or wathever his name is and so many other K2 fans that really represent them so well.

Come to think of it, only ******ed Vladimir 23 is annoying, everyone else is pretty intelligent.

I say Vitali is top 5 H2H easily

    Maybe even top 3

Lewis is probably top 4 to top 2

Both will dominate any Americans other then Ali.

  6. Wladimir also have a suspect chin, but he protects it well. It's hard to knock out someone if he fights ultra defensive with the long jab and throw the right hand when the chance comes.

Lennox if he must can do the exact same thing against the very dangerous punchers. Basically fight a Tua Fight.

Vitali don't need to worry about that cuz he got a great chin.

But the issue is, someone like Ali might outbox Vitali winning a UD.

That's the biggest issue with Vitali H2H against someone like Ali. I don't think Vitali have the one punch KO power of Wladimir or Lennox.

Chill out with the TKO6 , i already admitted Vitali loses to Lewis.

Everyone loses to Lewis, probably. Foreman himself told him he was the best

the question is who is the H2H GOAT, nostalgia and sentimentalism aside

i must admit I cant decide yet.

dammit, I realize I should have added a ¨too hard. cant decide¨ option to the poll:patsch

Prime Ali would be a tough fight for anyone, that's for sure but if 6'2 185lbs Henry Cooper gave Ali hell, Vitali and Lennox should be able to handle him, it wouldn't be easy for Ali to outbox them either due to the difference in reach, these guys are great boxing or brawling remember.

Im a big K2 fan but

    Lewis > Vitali always.

  12. Ya I am. The only reason I spew so much garbage against the Klithsckos is cuz it's based on automatic reflexes when K2 fans troll lewis.

But the truth is the bias against them from many people is because their not American HW'S that dominate the flagship division anymore.

So many of these guys who 'give props to lennox' on forums are doing it
NOT BECAUSE they are Lewis fans but because they are

KLITHSCKO HATERS.. That's a huge difference. They just use Lennox because of H2H Fantasy Matchups, cuz of his real tko6, and his resume. So they can bash the Klithsckos easier.

If there was no Klitschkos, Lewis will be the one getting bashed by hard core Tyson nut huggers.

The truth is half the guys spamming tko6? Could give a **** about Lewis OR the Klithsckos, they hate all 3 of them and wish for the days of another ****** drug using criminal like Tyson to dominate again.

I think the general consensus of the forum is that 64-67 Ali is the H2H ATG. I do not have a number 1 H2H ATG heavy just because I feel so many style match ups from ATG Heavys would make it impossible for one fighter on one day to beat every other heavyweight there has ever been. I feel Ali loses to prime Frazier and prime Norton (with fair judging of course) I feel Lewis would lose to Holmes and Foreman. Holmes would lose to Tyson, foreman loses to Ali and the list goes on.

Both guys represent themselves so well in and out of the ring. However, it is hard to say that Lewis's chin would hold up against bangers like Foreman and Shavers or that Vitali has the speed and mobility to deal with a pure boxer like Ali.

H2H they are nightmares for anybody who ever laced up the gloves. But on any given night I can see either of them beating some ATGs and losing to others.

A real Lewis fan is comfortable with Lennox's standing and only needs to use TKO6 for a comeback against the delusional.
