That bolded part is true but Vitali makes up for his lack of single punch power by having an insane workrate. He throws tons of punches.............

Ali was also not a single punch KO artist like Lennox or Wladimir but he had intangibles that allowed him to fight differently depending on the opponent. You'd have a tough time picking anyone against a prime Ali or Louis for that matter.

 

To address your previous post, that's ridiculous to suggest Lewis was not in his prime; that is an argument that was concocted years, and years later to defend, and make excuses for Lewis robbing Vitali, and the boxing fans of a rematch. . . I've never seen a fight end like that - where a boxer was clearly beating him, and had the fight stopped by the Dr. due to a cut (and then to PROMISE a rematch, and NOT REMATCH?!? LOL WUTZ?!?!). . . Lewis was as good as he ever was, and even said so himself - the whole "fine wine, get better with age" quote. . He was still far away from 40, and was coming off that destruction against Tyson - his morale was at an all time high. . . He was as physically strong, and quick as ever. . .

If Lewis wasn't prime, then neither was Vitali - I could say he was too green.

Now, the analogy with Lewis being ahead on the cards when he got STARCHED. . Yes, absolutely FLATTENED, is ludicrous. . Trying WAY too hard. . . Lewis wasn't stopped by the Dr. after winning the fight, he was LAID THE **** OUT, rendered UNCONSCIOUS, and unable to continue EVEN IF HE WANTED TOO. . . But guess what? THEY GAVE LEWIS A REMATCH! Lewis robbed Vitali, and the fans of the Hw fight of the decade by not granting a rematch. . . If you believe otherwise, you're not a real boxing fan, and don't deserve feet.

 

Lewis is top 3 based on resumé and head to head in my humble opinion. Vitali isn't in the top 10 yet due to resumé of lack thereof. However I wouldn't pick any HW in history to beat him head to head, prime for prime. That's not to say he can't lose to Ali, Louis, Foreman, etc. just that I wouldn'ty bet against him.
