Byrd fight was years ago....Vitali is much slower now. i think Adamek can avoid lots of punches by moving around, and steal few rounds but winning will be hell difficult for him
II know that this is subjective subject, But I do not rate klitsch has a pure boxer, he will get found out adamek will win this on the ourside, I would even go to say vitali might quit! recurrance of torn rotatory cuff
dream fight... unfortunately there are little chances this fight will ever happen unless miracle...Haye winning vs Wlad and Adamek winning vs Vitali
No chance, Vitali may be awkward but he knows what he's doing in the ring and is very exciting unlike his brother has been since 08. Vitali hits very hard and may not have the power his brother has but he has more than enough to take him out. Adamek's fights against Grant & McBride did not impress me at all and Vitali even at this stage is still too much for Adamek. I actually like Vitali TBH though I'm not a fan.
While I'm not ruling out an Adamek win - however unlikely - it's a little hard to swallow that Klitschko would drop all the way down to the level of Lance Whitaker for his rebound bout.
I regard Adamek has a highly skilled boxer, He can go to war and has the heart of a lion, and one other thing Adamek is Highly intelligent in the Square Circle Him and his trainer have a game plane to beat Vitali convincingly. I have also notice that vitali when he tries to open up he bends his knees, to fight lower, this is how you fight and beat klitscho, you make him turn laterally whilst firing your shots, .. it doesnt give him enpugh time to re adjust. and the very important thing is make him use his muscles in his back more often, you make his weight be his enemy... I'm a big Adamek fan but no way does he outbox Vitali. I think it will be a good fight with a decent amount of action and exchanges but will end with Vitali KO'ing Adamek... Two of my favs, one of them has to lose, so sad...
one should look no further than Adamek's fight against michael grant to see he's really up against it. A never-great, completely shot Grant almost took his head off in the final rounds of that fight. The size difference will be entirely too much.
They always come with a plan on how to beat the Klitchkos. I have plenty of respect for Adamek but once Vitali feels how weak his punches are he wont have a worry in the world and even if your the faster boxer with better footwork if you have nothing to worry your opponant you can and will be closed down very easily.
