****ing joker worships Haye, the homo that ran from K2, and then has the nerve to call them sisters. Another keyboard warrior.

Funny how "most" Haye fans tend to be dicks, just like Haye himself.

Right, but not training for Lewis. Big difference.

lennox was the undisputed champion and only 37 years old. Dont try and make excuses for him getting smashed and sent into retirement. Vitaly is the king of the heavys and its about time you bow down little british man and except it was the changing of the gaurd that night :good

Why do you think Tyson ducked Lewis earlier in his career to fight Holyfield. Too bad that never panned out for him...

I think the Rahman loss is what sent Lewis into a steady decline. He probably was at half-capacity when he finished off Tyson, so I wouldn't say its a stretch to say he was definitely past his better days, and he still did what he had to do to make sure Vitali wasn't gonna be able to finish him. Why would he let himself get punished in a rematch when he's probably more of a faded fighter than the 1st fight.

The only difference between their respective careers is Holyfield gave Lewis a rematch and Lewis retired instead of giving Vitali another shot.

All that is missing on Vitali's resume is W's over past prime heavies as Lennox has. He also hasn't suffered a couple of embarrassing knockout losses to lesser fighters who he could beat in rematches to show he can come back from adversity.

Vitali has been as dominant as any champ in history, hardly losing a round in his entire career. He is a sure fire ATG heavyweight, maybe even top 10. He'd be a an imposing matchup for anyone in history.

The sanctioning bodies ordered that rematch because there was a ******ed judge that gave that fight to Holyfield. Lewis won that 1st fight, and Holyfield got a gift draw. He landed 200+ less punches than Lewis, yet the judge that gave the fight to Holyfield said she "saw the champion land more shots."

Neither fighter was in decline at that point, and Holyfield knew that he couldn't run from that rematch. Lewis was a 38 year old great, but faded fighter who was smart enough to bow out when he was still somewhat on his game. No shame in that. And Vitali should take pride that one of the last heavyweight greats of the 20th century gave him the time of day. its not like Lennox was 32, his career was at its end and instead of getting goaded into a cash out, he played it smart and safe.

Truth is that Haye is a damned coward and a liar. Contract breaker. Emanuel Steward is correct. Haye will keep on running.

You´re a loser dude. If you think Vitali´s career before facing Lewis amounts to nothing, go out there yourself and accomplish more than he did in that period. Most boxers never win a title like the WBO heavyweight title or make as much money in their entire career as Vitali had done before facing Lewis. Vitali was also a very big celebrity in Germany and Ukraine before facing Lewis.

Yeah he didn´t beat any really good fighters, like I said, but he beat a lot of contenders and fringe contenders and KOed all of them except for Hoffman. He still had a pretty good career all in all and he did pick up the WBO belt. Larry Donald wasn´t really a top fighter but he actually wasn´t all that bad. He did go on to shut out and old Holyfield after the Vitali fight and to arguably win against Valuev but get robbed. Also, I don´t think he ever got KOed except against Vitali.

But I still rate Hide higher than Haye in HW, 2 time champion, much faster KO's, didn't go out of the way from anybody in his entire career and KO'd big names early in his fights.
