Vitali stops Peter, Valuev decisions Chagaev.

    Vitali beats Valuev.

    Vitali emerges victorious.

    Audley Harrison crushes them all.

I'd probably rank Wladimir #1 even in this scenario because if all goes well, he will have had wins over Peter, Byrd, Brock, Austin, Brewster, Ibragimov, Thompson, and Povetkin whereas his brother will have wins over Peter and Valuev. An edge in quality and quantity for Wladimir.

I'd rather Vitali not return so we could get some new faces at the top like David Haye, Odlanier Solis, and Alexander Povetkin. They represent the new generation, while Vitali is of the past.

Considering Vitali hasn't had a "clean" knockout in his entire career, most (if not all) were by breakdown asswhoppings, I see this hard.. I am willing to bet anyone a big amount of $ that Vitali even gets through training camp anymore. He is done, finished.. and he should let the young guns figure out the heavyweight mess by themselves, he's only interrupting it.

    Vitali T/KO Peter
    Valuev decisions Chagaev

Valuev vs Vitali - I need to see how good (or bad as the case may be) he looks against Peter

If Vitali is healthy he is going to crush Peter...that is if Peter can get by Golota!!!!

I think Valuev has actually improved since his first fight with Chagaev. I think he will win the rematch on points.

You made a good point, magic.Nevertheless, we dont really know for sure whether he is really done and over the hill or not.

As for his opponent Peter he is not exactly the kind of fighter who poses a huge threat to Vitaly. The slow African is probably tailor made for Vitaly who is past his prime, but who should be still able to defeat such a one-dimensional opponent who heavily relies on his firepower.

Vitaly would probably have a much tougher time with someone like Juan Gomez or Eddy Chambers.
