basketball and football has always been more popular than boxing, theres hardly that many black fighters in MMA, UFC only has one black american champion.

eddie chambers is skilled, he would probably be a champion in another era, problem is he is way to small. current heavyweights are giants compared to the days when holyfield, michael spinks and michael moorer ruled the HW division.

  3. Klitschko fans are so racist. Wlad has only been the liner champ for a short time. He isnt close to breaking Joe Louis record.

:patsch open your eyes. im still young and live in a black community. most of the people i know dont give a **** or dont know **** about boxing. its turned into an underground sport and its not as mainstream as it was back in the day in america. if it aint Pac or Floyd damn near NOBODY under 30 is watching any other fighters in the US. its flat out not popular which means people are less interested in competing in a non popular sport. our talent is not focused on boxing like they used to.

This era of heavyweights is just not as strong its not Klistschko's fault as I feel they could compete in any era but fact remains its a weak division and there will always be question marks when they finally hang it up they are not the first and will not be the last boxers in a era to experience this greatness is determined alot on what opponents you beat in your career.

its because our HW boxers are inferior, do you know any 6 foot 5 black guys in your neighborhood that are doing something else when they could be the next HW champion? i doubt anyone in your neighborhood is above 6 foot 2.

the truth is that boxing was more popular in america back when michael moorer and holyfield was ruling the division... and that era was considered great

Nobody mentioned the 90s but if you want to go there Holyfield, Bowe, Golata, Bruno and Lewis are all better than Arreola, Chambers, Helenius, Haye, and Chrisora I'm sorry.

Wait until you see the score card by the judge from Ghana! Yes, he has the fight scored 12 rounds to zero! What will he say when Vitali Knocks Chisora out?!

Bull....****. Nobody gives a **** about boxing in america. After the Klitschko brothers retire, there's going to be a black heavyweight champion and....nobody is going to give a ****. Boxing fans are damn near cult like. Mainstream american media is not going to give a flying **** about any heavyweight boxer again ever.

pleanty. theyre either on the football or Bball teams in college or up to no good. inferior? what do u mean by that? is our current heavyweight division talentless? yes. nobody cares for boxing out here. americans like to be popular, famous, and make alot of money. boxing is a non popular sport that doesnt get much mainstream coverage.
