Your point is void since Vitali couldnt even beat a worse version of Lewis that turned up for those two fights that you mentioned above, an overweight, past prime Lewis ripped Vitali's face open leaving it like a throbbing vagina, how does Vitali deal with a younger more interested Lewis??? he doesnt.:good

another thing, if they let the fight continue for 12 rounds Lewis would consistently smashed the blinded Vitali so badly his career would have been over. you klitheads are insane, I thought the *******s were bad

So, when it came time for me to see if I should fight Klitschko again, I thought - at my worst, at my worst! I beat Klitschko and look what I did to his face! I was at my worst - just think [what would’ve happened] if I’d trained just a little bit harder. I didn’t need to fight him again."

"I want the rematch," Lewis said, speaking to the media on a conference call from New York. "I enjoyed that fight. It was just a fight. We went at it. You have to play dollars and cents but I'm opting more for the rematch. I am looking into the rematch because I want Vitali Klitschko."

Lewis said that before he agrees to the rematch he wants his own doctor to examine Klitschko's injured eye to make sure it will be OK for a fight.

I repeat it again, Lewis TKO6 Vitali. And Lennox deserved the win.
A win on a cut while behind on the scorecards against an one eyed opponent is as clear as a knockout? wow that's bizzare...
"He owed Vitali nothing,..." I agree on this, the rest of your post is rubbish. Thanks though.

    1. Lewis Refuses the rematch

Lennox won the battle (while getting dominated), Vitali won the war. THE END!

I stopped reading there. If you don't knock a guy out or get the ref to jump in and save the guy while losing on points, you don't deserve to win.

Lewis ended his career retiring as champion having beaten every man he ever fought.

Vitali went straight to hospital after losing with half his face ruined.

If thats winning the war then I'd rather lose:hi:

    WTF?

Lewis was the real victor, winning by cuts is a very valid way to win.

Secondly it only went 6 rounds and Lewis had been behind on the score cards after 6 rounds many times. Lewis had won the last 2 rounds before the sotppage and, imo, would have won anyways if Vitali did not get cut.

It's a shame that Vitali has literally no legacy outside of this losing effort.
