And so ****ing what...He wanted to leave the game on his terms...Yes Vitali gave him a tough fight but at the end of the day still couldnt beat him!

Boxers go back on their word all the time! stop acting like Lewis is the first to do it!

Stop even pretending that you saw that fight boy. BTW, an old Larry schooled Ray Mercer at 42. You know the same Ray Mercer that had Lewis looking like he was ready to **** hiss pants and went the distance with Oliver McCall. The guy that turned Lennox's lights out in the second round.

Would have been one thing if he just retired right after the fight... or soon after.

Instead, Lewis sits back.. promises everyone as well as the fans a rematch. Makes Vitali jump through a bunch of hoops in order to assure him a rematch. Goes as far as to make Vitali fly to London and visit Lewis' personal doctor to get his eye cleared! Vitali did it... and then Lewis said that 4 months wouldn't be enough time to get ready for the date that HBO gave them. 4 months! Then... Lewis says that he will fight the winner of Vitali vs Johnson (as he calls Kirk Johnson to advise him on ways to win)... which clearly didn't work. All of this time... Lewis is talking about fighting Roy Jones Jr and trying to sue Mike Tyson back into the ring! Then, after 8 more months of Lewis sitting on his title after his fight with Vitali... the WBC orders that Lewis either fight Vitali or be stripped of his title. Out of NOWHERE, Lewis retires a couple days later!

There was no need. Holmes won in case you didn't know.

I know you are obsessed with me ***Jay, but this thread is about Vitali forcing Lennox into retirement. This isn't about me being a Holmes fan, but again, I am so flattered that you have such an interest in me. You must have some masochistic tendencies that come out when I make a fool out of you.

You be a good boy and I may give you a spanking.

Edit: Don't think that I didn't notice that you did your Holmes research and now know about the Spinks bouts...a knowledge you were lacking earlier. Again, I am flattered.

Boy, you are too stupid to try to debate grownups. It is a count of ten; not ten seconds. Dumb****. Plus, Larry gets up and beats his ass. Have you got your buttplug in now ***JAY. I'm kinda starting to get off abusing you myself.

"Will you give him a rematch?"
    "If the money's right, yes"

    End of thread.

So we agree. There is no need for a champion to give a losing challenger a rematch, no matter how difficult or close the victory was.

A lot of fanboy talk here. Vitaly couldn“t beat an old and overweight Lennox, simple as that.

Totally, different. Lewis was losing on all cards and did not stop Vitali.
Plus, Holmes wasn't chased into retirement like Lennox.
