Uh yeah, if you know anything about boxing you should know HE DID become champ by beating tomato cans.

Maskaev??? Starched by Correy TREX Sanders, Kirk Johnson, and Lance Whitaker.

    He lost to Wlad.

He beat Toney. BIG DEAL. Toney sucks at heavyweight.

Peter will cower after the first time he gets hit and hurt. After that point, he won't put up much of a fight, guaranteed. He will just be trying to survive.

Vitali is a finisher unlike Jameel McCline.

firstly i would like to say that i cant wait for this fight to happen since it was first made. we got one champion against another former champ. they both stubborn as hell, this is why this fight is going to be a war.

i dont think peter is too worried about vitali, you guys are trying to read into something thats not there, he looks more anxious than nervous.
and the power peter showed the way he pivoted when he snatched that belt of vitali, i mean, thats just pure power, i hope he lands on vitali like that on saturday.

i hope someones streaming the fight or is it on nuts tv?

Sam's very good for what he is, which is a pretty unskilled brawler. He's not a division 'savior' or some iron-chinned KO machine, IMO. And he should have lost the first fight to Toney.

Sam is still living off the Jeremy Williams fight. In his last 7 fights, he: lost to -- and was rocked by -- Wlad; only KO'd two of his opponents; was beaten by James Toney; beat old, fat James Toney; was dropped 3 times by McCline and was rocked by Maskaev before winning by KO.

Sam is a good fighter, but I don't think he's near the level some were making him out to be or that they hoped him to be. He's not Super KO guy, or Mr Iron Chin. He's not Division Savior Guy.

He's a good fighter with natural gifts who isn't extremely skilled. He has a strong will.

I like him, I just never bought the hype. Same as I felt about Jermain Taylor or Miguel Cotto. They're very good, just not as good as often advertised, IMO. I don't 'hate' Sam Peter, or Taylor, or Cotto. I guess you could say I'm 'hating on' them, but I don't hate them. I'm sure they're pretty good guys away from the ring.

Answer the question, who did Peter beat worth anything to become champion? How do you lose to Wlad and become WBC champ by fighting Maskaev? Doesn't make sense to me.

Now answer, what would Wlad have done to Maskaev and what did he to to McCline?

Has Samuel been beat down like Wlad was by Sanders and Purity..

Jameel was beaten by Wladimir a while back.. by stoppage..
Did McCline beat Samuel.. no he lost , champions get off the floor.. to win..

Shame Samuel has never once stayed down , unlike Wladimir..

    Davarryll even had Wlad over........

Sam had Wlad down from rabbit punching. McCline had Peter down from real punches and Wlad had McCline down from real punches.

    See how that works?
