Exactly! I f*cking lost it when he first retired, I'm not looking forward to his second. I hope we get AT LEAST 2 more fights...

Adamek/Haye/Povetkin/Valuev any will do, but only one is willing (well possibly two now)

    Just hang them up NOW!

    Damn it.

When is Wladimir going to get to reign in peace, undisputed? :-(

I was referring to the idea of legacy that the poster whom I quoted was talking about. I think Vit already solidified the second type of legacy but his era is very weak. If Haye were to beat Wlad, than IMO the Haye fight would be very significant. Barring that unlikely outcome, wins over Haye and Adamek don't add much (but losses would esp to Adamek)

    I can't ****ing wait.

Finally we can end this sharing of the belts and contenders between 2 fighters who will never fight eachother and get a proper set up on the go.

1 champ, unification station. Contenders coming up to fight him. Lovely.

The start of a real era.

Even the famous CHEF cannot deny that Solis won the event. That's food for thought for all Klitschko huggers and the people who deny that events exist :deal

Anotehr web sight is reporting that Vitaly is calling out Valuev again, and Valuev is still bitching about the money.

Vitali can't retire until he wins at least one more event. He knows it could make or break him on any ATG EVT lists.

well he can't claim to be the best of his era considering it is his brother who is more dominant.

that's why he would have to beat either wlad or wlad's conqueror.

i think the third type was most likely. a great fighter with a decent resume (bowe, holmes etc.)

but he can solidify the first by beating top 5 contenders, i.e. adamek, haye.

I think his comeback has greatly enhanced his resume already.

How much would YOU be willing to bet on that?? Adamek has to know by July 2 which brother he's fighting. Vitali is talking of fightin again in June...so he's gonna be in camp at the same time as his brother. I reckon its obvious Vitali knows already he's getting Haye..and thats what little brother is giving his brother as he knows his retirement is on the cards..so give big brother a HUGE payday.

Look at his resume. You think adding two quality names ranked in the era's top five at forty years old isn't going to help his standing? It's not even debatable that it would.
