Is that what the scorecards say? I mean i know a TKO is a TKO but was he ahead on cards as he says in this interview?? http://www.fightnews.com/fightnews_2/headlines//EkkuEylpEZXjjsbKpW.html
That's very strange, I was pretty sure Vitali lost because his eye was ready to pop out of its socket. I learn something new everyday.
Yes, he was 58-56 in front on all three cards. However, Lewis was taking over in the sixth, and would have stopped Vitali in the 8th. He is just being bitter and trying to coax a rematch which ain't gonna happen.
That is an English language gaffe. He was ahead on points. Vitali makes these kinds of language mistakes a bunch. He is nowhere near as polished as Wlad with the english language.
It's possible Lewis would have lost if he hadn't smashed his opponents face to hamburger. But we'll never know. Nobody knows. And it doesn't really matter. A good stoppage.
Yes,Lewis would have definately lost, if he hadnt been a big meenie and mashed up vitali's face he would have definately lost, maybe.
Let´s make this one clear NOBODY knows who would have won that fight without the cut. Both were fatigued and had taken hard shots. Period.
Exactly. I really like Vitali, but he should give this up and concentrate on cleaning out the rest of the divison, instead of constantly talking about a fight he lost, no matter how well he was doing in it. The fact remains it's a loss, a fight is won over 12 rounds, not 6. No dissrespect to Vitali in anyway, it's time to cement his own legacy, he's a terrific fighter..
He was ahead on the cards but almost out on his feet at the end of the sixth. I think he should let it go.
