Yeah I have nothing against Valuev except he couldn't knock out John Ruiz twice.

Other than that I see a knockout in his future if he fights either brother. I may change my mind about Wlad and say he gets the knockout late.

Why are people suggesting that Valuev is going to be KO'd?

His chin has been shown as anything less than solid. I think both brothers would beat him unanimous fashion but a KO doesn't seem possible.

u could be right actually! still dont know if wlads safety style would allow for that against the much bigger valuev, then again valuev has gone the distance(or near to it) in nearly every fight for the past 3 years, so no real KO worry for wlad meaning he mite open up a bit....

I'm sure Vitali will let Wlad do the fighting, but Vitali is a bigger attraction, so he will be the one able to offer Valuev the kind of money that will make it happen.

Valuev is too slow, both brothers will beat him, but he has a sturdy chin, it would probably be by TKO.

Have you seen the people Valuev beat? None of them have the size and power of either brother. When he gets hit flush about 50 times by either one of them, believe me, he is going down.

Chagaev had/has great power, at least before his friggin immune system died. He faced McCline who had Peter down 3 times and Monte Barrett has decent heavyweight power as well.

I'm not saying that Wlad or Vitali doesn't have a chance to put him down because anything can happen...but I'd bet against it.

I'm certain Valuev will see all 12 rounds against Wlad and slightly certain he'd see the distance against Vitali.

I think that has a lot to do with just size. He's not going to do well with anyone approaching his size because ihs skill/speed aren't on par with the big good men on top right now.

Valuev is a ranked guy, but I agree either Kltischko would defeat him.

On a site that talks about boxing, a brand new Gomez article says that Vitali has apparently been trying to get the WBC suits to delay the mandatory fight with GOmez in order to unify with Valuev.

I hope that is what happens, but Chef is the one with the inside info which says Wlad is likely to be the one.

I hope its Vitali who gets him, though (assuming someone gets a fight with him), and I think Suliaman will probably allow Vitali to delay the Gomez mandatory, seeing as how Suliaman seems to like Vitali (that's the impression I get, anyway) and he'd see how beneficial this unification would be.

At least that's what I am hoping for........Vitali / Valuev.

    Scratch what I said, here.

From the new interview on the main page, sounds like Vitai is not retiring yet. :good

I sure hope he gets Valuev, and if not, fights Gomez, then maybe Chagaev or Haye. He's got too much of a strangehold on the entire division to retire, now. :good And he knows it!

Sauerland just needs to make sure that Nicolay gets paid well cuz fighting either Klitschko would be a losing proposition.
