Thanks for the vid! Solis really looks fit, fast and ready! Wow, those are some strange exercises for boxing. Solis is really fast and a very intelligent fighter and with Pedro Diaz in his corner I know that he will beat Vitaly. :good

Solis is 30 years old and it's very hard for him to be at 200lbs again! His ideal and healthy weight would be between 235 to 240lbs... :good

It's going to be a tough fight for Vitali regardless of the weight: Solis has world class skills.

Yeah, he's part of the team.

Solis is looking decent in that video but you can see he's obese and it slows him down. 245 lowest at the weigh-in (that would still be a career best for Solis). But he's definitely lighter than against Austin.

i think solis may pose problems for Vitali in the opening rounds....but Vitali's generalship will show though in the mid rounds....his toughness and experience combined with shots raining down all night will win him this bout

Not sure he's going to win, but otherwise agreed. Solis looks very encouraging here. Excellent footwork, good speed, good mobility. He's like a highly skilled version of Sam Peter minus the toughness/power. Definately the only fight since Sam Peter in 2008 where you had reason to think Vitali might not win, or might have to go to the wall to win. Solis needs to stay totally relaxed. It's gonna help him massively that he's based in Germany, and is used to fighting there.

The guy had plenty of power in the ams. There is no excuse for him to be overweight in a title fight. It isnt like he cant get in shape its just that he cant be bothered.i
