agreed he showed good timing, power, and descent D and only lost a round or two but IMO solis definitely slowed in the later rounds (why can't he see that he's got to get in better shape?). Plus Austin fought like a slug and never figured out that a lazy jab wasn't enough to penetrate solis's d and was too tired himself due to **** condition to even attempt any sustained O later on when solis was tiring a bit. Vitaly will penetrate that D and won't fade. I expect Solis to make it one of vit's toughest fights but Vitaly will be too smart and strong to allow solis to peek a boo and pounce (like he did on austin) and see a clear UD for Vit

Nothing Solis has done in the pro ranks indicates that he's going to give Klitschko problems. He's got decent hand speed, but he's fat and slow on his feet. He's going to get battered or show zero heart and try to stay away much like Kevin Johnson.

 

He knocked out a guy who was already known to be shot, has been KO'd on several occasions, took the fight on 2 weeks notice with no training camp and desperate for money.

Solis did what any top 50 fighter should have been able to do, big deal.

 

Barret was in shape. I beleive he was at one of the lowest weights he had faught in a while. And Top 50!?!? ok man, this is just garage your speaking that is going to backfire and make you look even worst when solis give VK a tough fight if not beats him.
