It's safe to say you didn't see Solis' fight against Ausitn.

That was the first fight I had seen live of Solis...and I was expecting a lot more. I was shocked at how bad he looked. Yes, he had decent hand speed, but he lumbers around the ring. And for all the talk about how hard Solis punches, he sure didn't seem to have much power (and his KO percentage is only 70%).

I cant see Solis having any chance here unless Vitali just gets really old in the ring

I'm sure it wasn't an excuse....just pointing out that it's the only way Solis can win.

Vitali will be 39 years and 8 months old on fight night. He's been in some type of combat sport (kickboxing, boxing), for the last 20 years. That, and the multiple surgeries he's had throughout his career, it's really amazing that he's still fighting, and still on top.

Solis would get punched out of the ring if he came in out those weights. He doesn't use the movement like Adamek, and Haye. Because that's not his fighting style. He relies on his strength, skill, timing, and power, you'll notice the subtle high guard, is very conservative when blocking punches and efficient for saving stamina....

    But Solis is "morbidly obese"
I have heard this "overweight can be good" theory before. But I can't think of a single boxer who was performed better after putting on the flab.

Ohhh so that's why the Klitschko's always win! They're taller! :patsch

Gosh I wonder why Lou Saverese lost to Kirk Johnson :huh

Or Michael Grant lost to Adamek :huh

Or Valuev lost to Haye...I could go on and on...:hi:

Solis is getting 2 million bucks (or the best part of) win, lose or draw.

he's going to come in fat as a pig, get blown out of the water in a mediocre effort, and walk away a millionaire.

Just like the last few that talked a good game, and came in fat as pigs, or stood with their hands by their sides for 12 rounds, talking rather than punching.
