"Organizers of the battle between the Champion WBS heavyweight champion Vitaliy Klitschko and Pole Albert Sosnowski has sold over 30,000 tickets.

    Told Klitschko manager Bernd Bente.

"So far sold about 30,000 tickets. But there's still time, interest in this fight as well. We expect that all will be sold 50-55 thousand tickets"

Thought that was interesting...shows the drawing power of Vitali.

Vitali is wasting time fighting this tomato can. He's to old to be wasting time fighting tomatoes. If this is the best fight he can get its time to hang up the gloves.

Wow that's insane... Europeans love those guys. Didn't expect that he can pull the numbers of manny Pac against such a shitty opponent.

As I said in another thread, the only possible challenge to the worldwide drawing power of the Klitschkos is Pacquiao. No other fighter is anywhere near these three.

I think Manny is the #1 worldwide draw. But even if he is, the Klitschkos don't seem to be very far off. Europe loves them.

Wlad's drawn north of 51,000 twice, the Klitschkos and Pacquiao are, by far, the sport's biggest draws.

Don't know much about Sosnowski. I just boxrec'd this guy and he lost a wide-decision to Zuri Lawrence. To make it worse, Lawrence took the fight on late notice. I also now know that Zuri Lawrence has never knocked out an opponent in his career (0 for 40). Which is amazing considering he's a heavyweight.

Anyway, props to Sosnowski for getting a shot at a major title (and a big paycheck) by doing so little. It's a rare feat in boxing.

people know the Klitschkos are the best ever and that the biggest challenger (haye) is too scared to even fight them. Haye illustrates how great the Klitschkos really are.

Tyson scared and intimidated opponents - but at least they didnt' duck him like a ***** like Haye.

Klitschkos frighten haye to the point of absurdity.

It's great for Vitali that he can sell out places, but it's really bad for the sport if these types of fights do good business. If the public keeps spending their hard earned money on garbage fights, then there is no incentive to give them anything better.

Being fair, both Klitschkos have fought every mandatory & available contender, time after time. The Albert fight is rare..............
