This fight wouldn't be happening if Valuev wasn't a chicken anyway!

Well TT did fight Wlad and put up a decent fight for a while and actually landed some hard punches (unlike chagaev, ibrag, etc). Yes Vitaly's tougher than Wlad, but he's also a few years older and didn't look all that great in his last couple and could be slipping a little bit. I think Vitaly-Valuev would be predictable as you say.

But OK give this guy a shot, I just wouldn't laugh off these two as being totally non credible choices compared to Sosnowski. Both would actually be more credible at this point. But as you say let's see what he can do.

I'm trying to explain to Mr. Blade that Solis declined, Adamek was in a contract, and Toney is a bloody joke.

Thompson didn't stand a chance with Wlad, so how can he stand a chance with VK.

He is basically fighting an Fraudley Harrison level opponent because no one wanted to fight him.... which is pretty accurate especially since both ko'd Williams.. Yet Sonsnowsi managed to not lose to him as well  Now if Haye ends up fighting Fraudley I sure hope the "Blade" will making a thread bitching about that.. but i guess he or she probably wouldn't.....

Good overall Post. Your point in relation to the marketing value of Thompson is well noted. However, from a quality standpoint Thompson is a better opponent than the Polish fighter.

You are arguing that Vitali vs Sosnowsko is appealing from a marketing standpoint. The same goes for Vitali-Toney in the US.

My point is: I do not agree that a fighter who has not been really tested should be fighting Vitali, especially as good as Vitali is right now.The Polish fighter should have at least fought somebody like Oquendo or Ruiz.

Why is Thompson better than Sosnowski? I don't say he isn't but he certainly hasn't proved it since getting knocked out by Wlad. Adnan Serin, Chazz Witherspoon and Own Beck in the last two years is not really better than Danny Williams, Francesco Pianeta and Paolo Vidoz.

You think Vitali-Toney would fill a football stadium in the US? Are you trying to be funny?

Well, I prefer a guy who is in his prime and will probably at least try to make a fight out of it over has beens who were good a decade ago and only want the fight for a last payday.

I sure hope that all the Klitchko huggers will be there to defend Haye decission, by telling how Audley actually is the most credible challenger for the title.

Getting KO by two time champion Rahman, is comparable to being outboxed and wobbled by Zuri Lawrence? :rofl

Yeah look at how many people are saying Sosnowski is the most credible challenger for the title.

Vitali tried to fight higher ranked fighters like Valuev and Solis but they didn't want the fight, apparently your little hater brain has trouble comprehending this.

Arent you saying it in your post right now?
Defending Klitchkos choice by saying, that there was no better challengers available in the world?

Same thing could happen to Haye you know.

Actually I hope Haye books fight with Audley right now, before he too becomes unavailable.

By fighting Audley Haye would be damaging HW boxing like few fighters before him. Haye should retire on the spot the second he announces this ridiculous matchup.

No it couldn't, because Haye has an offer from Wlad right now, if Haye fights Audley is because he's ducking the Klitschkos again.
