Pianeta was an undefeated prospect. How clean did Sosnowski win in your eyes?

I like Sosnowski just fine, but Vitali needs fights that will help his legacy, and this ain't it.

    Very dissappointing.

Completely unappealing fight. Vitali might as well continue fighting at his political meetings, like the dumbasses that they are.

Never heard of Sosnowski, til this announcement.

But you can't expect Vitali to manage to lure a good opponent into the ring each and every fight.

Every fight since he's been back has either been an undefeated contender, a mandatory, or a titleholder.

    Gomez, Peter, Arreola, Johnson.

Also, there are slim pickings right now, too. Gotta give him credit for wanting to stay active, even if he can't find anyone but someone like this unknown Sosnowski.

That's always how it is on German TV. Mexican TV too really. US TV (especially ESPN) is guilty of it quite a bit as well.

I think I had it 7-5 Sosnowski, but I wasn't complaining too hard about the draw. Sosnowski was mostly ineffective, and Pianeta barely threw punches.

I was hoping for Valuev, but the truth is it was right there for Valuev. He would have even received his biggest payday ever. And King walked away, so you really can't blame Vitali for that.

I hadn't heard of Albert Sosnowski, had to look him up. On the surface, he looks like a better than average fighter, I don't know what kind of skills he does or doesn't have to keep someone as big as Vitali off of him, but at least he seems to come into his fights in shape. Sure fighting Sosnowski is well below Valuev, or any Top 10 fighter. But, at least this guy, if nothing else, will be the most in shape opponent Vitali has fought probably since Lennox Lewis. The guy seems to be doing the best he can with what God gave him. So congrats to him for getting his chance....no reason to hate on that.

I'm relatively happy to see Sosnowski get a shot. I've followed his recent fights. I don't think he's ready to step into this company yet, Vidoz to Vitali is a ridiculously steep learning curve to be on...

He is a decent fighter though. He has good skills but he's also a very hard worker in the ring that will (usually) throw a lot of punches. I think he'll do a little better than people probably anticipate because Vitali really isn't that sharp anymore.

    Really disappointing to hear this.

Going from Valuev, Solis, to Sosnowsky is really ridiculous, utter ****. I thought Vitali was donne fighting journeymen, after Danny, Kirk, and several others before.

Plain and simple example of greed here, Vitali let his fans down.

This guy (Sosnowski) will surprise most of you. Of course, like all the other Vitali's opponents he will probably lose (I give him about 5% chance). However he will try to go inside, eat bombs, and finally land some punches on the Klitschko's head. I bet that he will be KO/TKO-ed in the mid to late rounds. One thing for sure, this fight will not be boring like some other used to be (Kevin Johnson - the most boring HW title fight i saw in my life)

Looks like this "bum" is in better shape than the current American top 10 heavyweights combined.

if Valuev, solis wont agree or price themselves out of a fight, what is Vitali supposed to do?

He wants to stay active. This is a good fight for a stadium in germany

GREED??? I think that comment was for Don King and Valuev:deal

If Sosnowski was to win this... it would be like Rocky beating Creed for the HW title.... to those proportions.

I can't help but be excited at least a little bit for the slight chance of that happening. Sosnowski is a good guy, and I am sure is very hungry for this. Would be so ****ing cool if he won.
