You seriously downplaying Toneys win over Holyfield when Sosnowski has no wins even near of that caliber? You really think that beating Paolo Vizod, old Danny Williams can even be compared to Toneys HW achievements. Beating top-5 ring magazine contender Holyfield, defeating WBA champ Ruiz, Draw with WBC champ Rahman, Out boxing Samuel Peter, making Rahman quit in rematch, defeating Oquendo, defeating WBO#8 ranked contender Ryddell Booker. Not to mention that Toney is ATG and former three division champion. Resumes are nowhere near close and it should be obvious to anyone who follows boxing. Holding EBU belt means nothing more than Toneys North American Championship. Toney actualy beat better fighter to win his championship
Its a stay busy fight, VK clearly has his eyes on Haye at this point. You could call it a unification :good
this will be a blowout. second round ko for vitali. and this fight will generate enough interests, i think the schalke stadium will be sold out, because vitali fights and the tickets will be cheap
Vitali could fight some random guy off the street and sell 20,000 tickets in Germany. That's how popular they are.
Technically this guy is EBU champion and holds wins over names such as Tyson's conquerer Danny Williams, olimpic medalist Wojciech Bartnik or former (NABF) champion Orlin Norris, so you should be familiar with his name Sosnowski got really lucky... again. After Golota fiasco I wasn't sure if I will see another Pole fighting for HW belt in my lifetime (Adamek has to pass Arreola first), and I was almost sure if anyone gets a chance this year it can be only Adamek. And somehow Sosnowski went almost out of nowhere... I wish him luck, but being realistic he will be more than succesful if the fight goes full distance and he wins any round.
You have zero boxing knowledge. It is an insult to any knowledgable boxingfan that you even dare to compare that unknown Russian to the ATG James Toney.:hat
What an absolute joke and disgrace of a fight. Lights Out would have definitely been a better opponent, both in the ring and out.
Well i'm a little relieved Vitali aint fighting Valuev, but surely he could have fought some other contender who's actually ranked in the top 15. I dunno, i suppose it's a big step down from the opponents he's been fighting so far...
Atleast sosnowski will show up to fight , i dont think he's any worse than present Solis, Hope Valuev ends broke after this.
No offense but Toney is a waste of time. If not for his injury Andrew Golota has better chances. We understand that you support Toney but let's be real.
Boxing knowledge? LOL!! Where's your knowledge clownface? You don't even know where Sosnowski is from.
You're just a nuthugger. A blind ****** could tell you James Toney has a better chance against the Klits than Sonowski.
