Exactly my thoughts. This means Valuev has a signed rematch contract with David Haye in his pocket. That's why he negotiated himself out of any reasonable discussion with Vitali.

Let us know who else was willing to fly to Germany and get his ass kicked for $1 million USD. It seems nobody was. Where is the outcry by the other heavies? Where are the open letters from Povetkin, Adamek? Why are they so quiet when they should be screaming "WHY NOT PICK ME, VITALI! I'D LOVE TO TAKE THE FIGHT FOR $1m". The silence is deafening.

You think Vitali voluntarily picked a nobody bum like Sosnowski? You think he would not have preferred a guy with a better sounding name and track record and ranking such as Adamek, Solis or whoever?

Isn't it painfully clear that the top 20 heavyweights are only willing to enter the ring with Vitali either after they are way past their prime or if Vitali pays them $5m USD?

Don't hate Vitali. Hate the wussies who are unwilling to fight him unless they get paid as if they brought a belt to the table.

I been around. How you been?

I actually dont mind Vitali as a fighter, but come on. Sosnowski is the best you can do? It's very hard for me to believe Vitali can't find a name oppenent whose ranked in the top 15 that don't want to fight for a title. Maybe I'm wrong, but isn't most fighters dream to become heavyweight champ? I know it was my dream fighting in gyms and halls hopping to one day get that opertunity to be on top.

I truly believe McCall would of took the opertunity if asked. Not sure about the other heavyweight pretenders though.

At 41, his biggest enemy is time. I think he will come back, though.

Why are people so unfamiliar with Sosnowski. He already fought on FNF about two years ago. Low skilled, hard working, busy fighter. And he's progressed quite a bit from his loss against Lawrence. For a guy with zero amateur fights, he's done alright. People were complaining about his padded record, which it was. Finally a real chance to show how much he's got. Expect a thousand or so Polish fans to drown out the polite Germans.

    I don't get it.

Why would Valuev except relative peanuts to fight Harrison for the European when he just got offered 2.5 mil to fight Vitali for the WBC?

    I'll be amazed!!!

:rofl Every fighter has some form of a title these days. I'm just amazed Vitali even took this fight. The Chambers/Wlad fight should of been on tv, this one is a complete joke.

I think Francesco Pianeta would have been a better opponent than Sosnowski.. At least he is closer to VK in size, is 25 years old, and has an undefeated record, which I suppose counts for something.

I don't know, actually Chambers haven't did much more than Sosnowski so far, he beat a couple more of no hopes as Brock, Guin or huge name in Purity, his recent wins Peter, Dimitrenko are on pair with Danny Willaims and Vidoz. I guess the fights Wlad-Chambers and Vitaly-Sosnowski are at the same quality level.

he, he Pianeta scored draw with Sosnowski and his record comparison is pretty weak  20 wins (12 KO) vs 45 wins (27 KO) 2 loses ... by comparing these two looks like Sosnowski's record is almost at the ATG level :D
