I agree. Adamek could possibly dance circles around Vitali confusing him and making him look awkward possibly leading to Vitali getting injured and not being able to come out between rounds. I'd have to bet on Vitali but Adamek is at least a league ahead of guys like Sosnowski and Solis.
Adamek hasn't really danced circles around anyone recently. He'd have to increase his game by a couple of leagues and Vitali would have to fight the worst fight he's fought in 10 years. Then... maybe.. Adamek has an underdog's chance.
Please, let's stop with the creation of legends. Adamek was an underdog vs. Grant? Maddalone? Heck even against Arreola I remember people were evenly split right down the middle, Adamek certainly was no huge underdog. If you think Adamek was an underdog against Maddalone and Grant, then what will that make him against Vitali even if Vitali fights at his absolute worst? Talk about icecube in hell.
Every time Adamek fights we have ESB experts telling us how he's going to lose or get KTFO. I had mentioned Adamek becoming a heavyweight before Adamek even moved to cruiser. Listen, my money goes on Vitali but I wouldn't be surprised one bit if Adamek comes out on top.
I agree with this "Adamek is at least a league ahead of guys like Sosnowski and Solis." But beating Vitali?
If Sergei does fight Vitaly first, I hope his promoters give him more than 25 K from his check, unlike Shannon Briggs.
Same here. Vitali didn't break a sweat against Solis, and a Liak fight would merely be a stay sharp fight for the formidable ( or supposeldy so) opponent in Adamek in Sept. But I think we'll see Vitali either mow down or widely decision Adamek with ease, as he does everyone else.
