gotzev is clearly an idiot. He got into a crazy war of words with toney and briggs too. why do managers feel the need to taunt their fighter's opponent? all of peter's camp was ripping vit and wlad. mckinley, duva....nimrods
Kenny Weldon (Sergei Liahkovich former trainer) owns part of a Boxing gym here in Atlanta. He said that Ivalo thinks he is a fighter and when he would be training Sergei Ivalo would be up on the ring apron giving advice and other crap interupting Weldon. Weldon said he would have to tell him to shut up and leave or he would ask if he wanted to train Sergei and let Weldon be the manager. Weldon just basically said what an idiot Ivalo is.
OH YEAH! :good Good to see that Ivano guy being humiliated like that, as he's comes across as such a weasel. :good
Ivalo must be feeling pretty desperate right now...both of his fighters had such poor showings in their last fights. Unfortunately, they will have a hard time getting another fight because they now fall into the category of "more risk than reward"!
I must have missed what this guy said before the fight but yeah VITLAY seems a little upset even after the fact. He can't be as bad as that ***** that used to manage Bowe though, was it Rock Newman? Angry, nasty little short-arse, always wanted someone to shove their fist through his ******ed skull, the ****
I think it's so funny that Vitali walked right up on him looking him straight in the eye, poking him in the chest, and talking down to him and he just completly ignored Peter. Vitali didn't even look at him. He treated him like he was a helpless child. I mean if you talk **** to someone in front of his friends you should probably watch out for one of them to take a cheap shot, but Vitali knew that Peter wouldn't do anything because he knew Peter wanted no more of him. I just thought it was kind of funny.
Dont know who the hell Gotzev is, never heard of him.....but my guess is that its his job to get into the other fighters/camps head, and get them out of their gameplan. You would think that somebody in Peter's camp, if not Peter, would talk **** and get Vitali all emotionally worked up, so that Vitali would go in there trying to take Peter's head off, thus playing right into Peter's hands.... ....as it was, Vitali fought mostly on the backfoot, and masterfully boxed Peter from a distance. ....got to give Vitali credit here. He did'nt let the other camp get into his head, and fought strictly and confidently within the gameplan. It goes to show just how strong mentally Vitali is that he holds his anger and emotion and spews it all out when it really counts.....afterward! Mark of a great fighter, no doubt!:yep
