I was just watching this fight. Vitali really beat the crap out of Lewis in round 2. Great fight. I thought Lewis showed his heart and he was getting more and more in it, could be in part because of the cut. Sucks that it got ruined by that cut.

 

But Tex Cobb or Rocky NEVER plopped on their stool after blowing their wad after round 6. And I couldn't even imagine warriors like Marciano and Cobb denying somebody a rematch after saying they would!

He was stopped by Lewis. That's a fact. I don't need to speculate or guess at what might have happened as we all saw what actually occurred. Vitali was leading by 2 points when stopped due to being assaulted by Lewis.
