Nope, never fought the only other worth Challenger of the last 10/15 years. Unfortunately that challenger was his brother, but still if you don't fight the very best and chop and choose between the two of you which fighters you take on you have a far better chance of domination than you would have as the one fighter.

He clearly lost against an aging and unmotivated Lewis and against a prime Lewis, would have lost even more emphatically. A very good boxer but far from the greatest. He used his size and power as an advantage over the majority but up against a boxer of similar size, strength and superior boxing ability, came unstuck. He was lucky to miss a prime Evander, Bowe, Tyson and Galota. Was the best in an average era and missed the second best boxer, Wlad.

And he flat out quit against a light punching ,much smaller man he was leading on points.A man he could have beaten with one arm, had he had 2 bollocks.

Never beat an A list fighter. Lost his two biggest fights. His brother has a better list of wins.

Hes not even top 20. Vitali is a stylistic and physical nightmare for anyone but he could have done more in the ring

Yeah, lucky that despite being old, totally unmotivated and in the worst shape of his career, Lewis still managed to take Vitalis best shots and then come back to repeatedly punch him until his face was a bloody mess leaving him needing 60 stitches and plastic surgery. TKO6.

Has anyone considered that the last 7-8 years of heavyweights have looked awful because of how much better the Klits family has looked?

No one had the chance to become A-list because they got stopped in their tracks

It's funny seeing Audley Harrison as a commentator for Lewis-Tua.. without sifting wasn't Tua born in 1972 or something like that?

one of the worst long term titlists.

cannot think of a worse long term champ (> 3 years), to be honest.

no one they fought, you mean, because virtually noeone they fought could last more than 5 rounds without gassing so we'd never found out because they entered the ring awfully conditioned, and some of them without learning what boxing is.
