Which one of the Klit sisters is this?...any chance that they decide who is going to defend family honour against Haye?

Ridicoulous. Barett has been knocked out by Cliff Couser and been beaten everytime he stepped up the competition. Barett has not name in his record.

Right now, Ruiz, Toney and Ibrahimgov are equal.

Oddly enough, I think Gomez is a tough fight for Vitali.

Gomez, when in shape, is a VERY good HW. He has beaten a number of good fighters at HW and is genuine top 10 material at this point.

Not a big punch, but he isn't going to KO Vitali anyway. He may be able to outbox him for a bit, however. It could be interesting.

If he says that, it's contrary to previous stuff he's said.

A long time ago, I remember him saying in an interview that Wlad was the best fighter in the world, and himself was second. He was praising Wlad's skills in sparring.

I see it as good news... Gomez earned that mandatory shot in 2 eliminators,,, vs Mcall and Virches. As long as Gomez dos'nt pull the upset, it's all good.

Vitali owes the WBC that much after all they did for him. Plus, alot of us see the Haye fight as a little premature. I'd like to see Haye fight at least one top ten guy before getting a shot at Vitali. Or, go straight to a fight with Wlad, which I think he has a better chance of winning... and that would set up the huge "Klitschko Redemption" match with big bro.

I agree... He wont KO Vitali, but I think he has as good a chance as any current HW to win a decision vs the big man... The guy has got more skill and high-level experience than most... and he'll be in shape for this one.

Put it this way... he's 10 times the boxer than Sam Peter... Could be a good challenge for a guy with one fight in 5 years!

I just hope he dos'nt pull it off, because he tends to be a pretty boring fighter from what I've seen.

as a daviaye fan i have to agree, a fight against vitali is not the best option a loss could ruin him, hes much better off fighting wlad first

Now you're really going to **** off Suge.

He doesn't like posters posting without sources (if you care !)

And it ****s up his contrived horse**** narrative regarding the brothers and who fights who.

bull. yes barret got caught by couser, so that happens sometimes at hw (see gomez-diaz). barrett is a legit hw with pop who has been competitive w/ everyone he's fought cept klitchko and holds some decent wins. ruiz has also been competitive with a lot of solid hws (and gotten more but debatable decisions), but at least barrett comes to fight. Toney is done, stick a fork in him and shoulda lost vs oquendo and hasn't looked a contender since peter 1. Ibrag, who knows what he is doing, but he ain't all that anyway. but for his outboxing the pedestrian shannon briggs and oldyfield what really has he done?

Vitaly has to fight Gomez to keep the WBC-belt. Gomez has very good skills, lacks power but is fast! Could he give Vitaly problems?

I seriously doubt this fight will be on in the Sates. Only way is if Showtime decides to pick it up on a Tape delay like they did the Peter fight. I doubt HBO would have any interest in this fight.
