Right, I am glad he's doing his mandatory obligation in order to keep the title. I thought they were not thinking it through well enough when they said they'd fight Haye, title or not. Keep that title, and then move on to bigger things.:good
Suge Green is going to have to eat his crow now, he was on Vitali's ass like hotsauce for facing Haye instead of Gomez. Who cares really, Gomez is the better fighter.. I am more thrilled to see this than to see Haye get splattered all over the canvas in two rounds.
The Haye fight was always trailed for the Summer, so it could still be as soon with this fight prior. It's a good solution, otherwise they'd be totally shafting Gomez. Agreed that he does have a chance to win on points against Vitali, but I wouldn't expect it.
Don't worry, Suge will now find a way to find fault with this fight, after he was just calling for it. ANd its good to see it come off as soon as March. I was expecting VItali's usual 6-7 months between fights, but it looks as if he's going to war with these guys, and doing it quickly, so he can take as many out as possible. LOL I hope since Wlad can't get Valuev, and is now gunning for Haye, that Valuev will fight Vitali in the summer.
This sounds good to me. Gomez has been mandatory for a long time and is a high quality opponent. I wish Wlad would then fight Haye instead of Arreola.
This Gomez fight is one that has been brewing for years, it'll be good, but a Haye fight is obviously bigger, an I fear Vitali may get KO'd by the Training Camp injury again.
Is this Gomez any good?:huh I've seen a clip on him on the internet against his last opponent. Seems pretty quick with some skills and good pop.
Gomez is still a very good fighter who did more harm to himself by letting himself go when he moved up in weight, but is a top 5ish caliber guy when he's on. Hell of a cruiserweight, by the way. Sometimes it's easy to forget since he's been somewhat anonymous for the majority of his heavyweight campaign.
Nonsense. Barett was competitive? He lost every round to Rahman, was knocked out in 2 by Klitschko, dominated and knocked out by Valuev, should I go on...? Toney looked last good against rahman. But when did Barett look good or the question should be did he ever looked good? What decent wins does he hold? Barett is totally shot and was never a top contender anyway. Haye was even afraid to fight shot Rahman.
They have flipped so quickly that they have actually disappeared up each others twats. Well done girls:good This content is protected
Gomez is better than Haye. I love these complete idiots who come out of their holes and cry any Klit ducking somebody. You must have a really poor life if you wank on attention....
