I don't understand how you can still want and think Vitali should get the shot for the title after 3 years of waiting. He's created a mess in the division and yet you must think we should still wait after all these years. The guys head is now in politics, not fighting. Don't you think it's time to move along? Give McCall a shot. He's been active. It's time to stop kissing Vitalis ass. His whole rep has been built on a loss. He's proved he can't make it through camp.

He ought to jsut retire. What is beating a guy like Peter or Maskawv going to prove?

Agreed. Beating Gomez might elevate him above Virchis but it's the WBC's own rankings that have Virchis above McCall, not mine.

If that's true & he pulls out of training camp with another injury then I will agree 100% and so should the WBC.

Oh please, SSS & Saleta? Those wins catapult him to #1 status? Sinan Sam sucks, he's slow as **** and he was easily beaten by Gomez. What's changed that made him a "good win"? Absolutely nothing, that's what. Saleta hasn't beaten anybody of note ever.................he'd likely lose to the slow Turk if fact.

The point was, they are better wins than not fighting anyone for three years and having an aborted comeback attempt.

Yeah like Vitali fought that good of competition and won, his best win is against Golfer/Boxer in Corrie Sanders or even better Danny Williams the same guy that got as beat by Fruadley Harrison. Vitali hasnt beat a too much better competition in the last 5 years either, has he now.

I'd rate Kirk Johnson, Corrie Sanders or Danny Williams above Sinan Slobber Sam & Saleta, but hey, that's just me. :yep

Seriously, McCall should have to fight & beat a true top 10 guy just as Holyfield should've before being granted his unearned shot.

The problem with the HW's these days is that guys are getting title shots for beating the likes of Kali Meehan (Rahman), Sinan Samil Sam (McCall), etc.

It's freakin' insane. Why don't they have to fight TRUE top 10 fighters and win to get these shots? Golota gets shots coming off losses for Heaven's sakes! Austin got a shot after a draw vs. Sultan.
